Day-1 Arrival
Cast-Myself Solo Trip :
7 AM Towencar on time for pickup to airport.
Checkin at curb with boarding pass in hand(First time printing my pass from home what a breeze)
Of course gate was all the way at the end never fails.
Left on time and landed 10 min eariy Yippie!!
Made my way to DME no problems Check-in less then 5 Min and boarded bus no wait. Waited on bus 15 min.
First stop was POP then CS and then AKL.
POP-check-in what a mess. Line was so long took 45-1hr to check in.
CM very un-knowledgeable. Did not get the floor or building I wanted or even close to it. But who cares as long as I am at Disney. Room very poorly laid out,when you open the door you fall right over the bed unless you push the door all the way open .
View was the parking courtyard/parking lot.
Houskeeping OK -did get a towel animal. Room just seem crowed to me.
Best thing about POP was the food court loved it. Had the Crusted Chicken for dinner yummie.
OK-Headed to MK for Twas the Night Before X-mas.Spectro and Wishes 4PM This is the only thing I have to say that TGM was right on as to where I should go to see the parade had an awsome view. After Wishes I left as this was the Friday after Thanksgiving it was very very crowed.
Oh by the way had a Dole Whip Float while watching Wishes YUMMIEEEE !!!!!!!!!!
Day 2 Saturday:
Had a good nights sleep no noise so that was nice. Its around 6AM I am an early riser.
Went to food court needed a cup of coffee but that was a mistake coffee at POP is GROSS!!!! Dumped it out and got a cup of tea.
Got on a bus to MGM and then hop on bus for Poly have an ADR at Kona's for breakfast at 7:30
Got seated promply and the chef came to my table to discuss my meal options. (I am diabetic) We choose Scrambled eggs ,wheat toast,ham steak and orange juice and of course a Great POT of coffee. The service was excellant and food was good.
Headed over to MGM walked right on TOT, line was only 5-10 min. Did Muffet 3D,Little Mermaid , Animation Studio.
Time for lunch at Sci-Fi . Little wait and again food was good had a burger and subed the fries for a veggie.Surgar free shake. Service and food was good .
After Sci-Fi I went to Great Movie ride,and then Beauty & Beast show.
Now its time for 50's PT but I am still full from Lunch so I cancel.
Looked around in the stores before I headed over to YC to meet Rebbeca and the rest of the group for Illumination Cruise. This was the highlight of the evening.
The show was so nice hope my video turned out OK.
After Cruise Rebecca and her DH dropped me off at POP so I would not have to deal with the buses which I really appricated. End of Day 2 I am tired.
Day 3 Sunday.
Sunday morning another quiet night. Got warmed up after last night it was cold out on the water but it was so lovely to see Illuminations from the boat.
Well today I check-out of POP and Check-in at WL Yippieee. Called last night to arrange a pickup of my bags and have them transfered to WL no problem.
Took bus to MK and then hop on boat for WL have an ADR at WC at 9AM . Had the SKillet breakfast and it was very good and I could change the rolls for wheat toast due to diet. Table next to me was getting the works They put a whole case of Ketchup on there table I cracked up. A lot of action was going on this morning so it was enteraining.
After breakfast I go to Check-In and I get my room right away Surprise. Room was great Courtyard room, including a welcome towel Mickey head.
I had a view of the pool,lake and walkway to boat dock. There still scaffing up but it was to my right and did not interfer with my view at all.
The tree in the lobby was awsome as always.
I was only a short walk to elavedor. The only problem I had was the walk up the ramp to the lobby but I soon found another way to get to the lobby without walking that ramp.
Afternoon I spent at DTD ,was very crowed here.
Well now another night of surprise I had dinner at Kona's for the first time I had Mahi Mahi and again the chef came out to discuss my choice. We opt to leave off the sauce and he but a small amout of butter over the Mahi Mahi and it was good.
Now for my long awaited wish I get to go on the Wishes cruise and let me tell you it was so awsome I was in 7th heaven. I really loved it.
We even got up close for the Electrical Water Parade as well. We had a Premium cruise with the Audio. I would do this one again anytime if I get the chance. After the cruise I thanked Cindy for the chance and hop on the Monorail to CR and then on the boat to WL
Went and had a nightcap and off to bed. Having a World Of Dreams tonight.
Day 4 Monday.
Today is up and at it 6AM Made coffee and read the paper while sitting on the balcony, nice addition being at WL.
Need to get dress and off to MK for 9AM breakfast at Crystal Palace. What a nice treat to walk down main street and no people (arrived at MK 8:15AM) Check-in for Breakfast and was seated within 10 min. Easy when solo. Was given a table by window so nice.
Waiter explains the procedure and how the Pool and gang will come around. Waiter brings me sugar free Syrup to table.
Go to buffet which I might add is very well stocked and everything is so fresh.
You can order an omlett the way you want so I did and got a few other items.
First up was Tigger,then Piglet,Eygore,and then Pool.
The couple across from me where so nice to take my picture with everyone.
After breakfast I proceed to see Dream Along with Mickey . Went to toontown and rode barnstomer and viewed Mickeys and Minnie and Donalds house. Rode Winnie,Buzz,Carosal Of Procress,
Stopped at Casey's for a Hot Dog for some reason it was way to salty to me.
Did some shopping and then headed over to MGM as I have an ADR for MAMA MELROSE for dinner. Get there in time to view Holly Parade had a great seat right on Hollywood Blvd sitting on a bench. Wish they had these benches on Main Street at MK also.
After parade went to Sound dangerous (They could get rid of this not worth the time),Rode TOT again no wait. Started to work my way towards Mama as it is located way in the back near the Light,Action Motor show. Check-In at Mama short wait .
Given a nice table and I order a Strawberry Colada Yummmmm!!!!!!!! so good. Had the Veggie soup,Chicken dish. This was good but could have used more sauce. No desert since I had the drink.
After dimmer it is almost time for the Dancing Lights to begin thats why I choose Mama for dinner. The show was awsome.
To finish the evening I went to Fantasmic,walked right in and got a seat dead center(pays to be solo again) The only thing that bothered me here was the announcements being given in 4 different languages was annoying. I live in America and the langage here is English-sorry for the vent.
Wonderful evening and back to hotel for some much needed rest.
Day 5 Tuesday:
This is a day of rest for me till MVMCP tonight. Head to Trails End for breakfast have an ADR for 8:30 .
As aways this is the best value on Disney property and the service and food are excellent. Go to Settlement post to shop and then back to hotel to rest.
Had a Pizza for lunch at Roaring Forks Was ok but nothing to talk about so I wont
Headed over to MK around 4PM and get wrist band and walk over to Cosmic Rays for Dinner.
Had the Double Berger and it was good with all the toppings. No fries or desert. Got a bottle of water and put my Crystal light in it. I carry these around with me. Was sure full after this.
Rode Buzz, and then headed over for Twas the night before XMas had to see it again really enjoyed it.
Well it started raining and the first Casle show was canceled Bummer. Parade was delayed 20 min another bummer. Had my picture taken with Photopass a couple places and got the discount pass which I did redeem after I got home. Got all my pictures from all parks at half price with this code.
Got to see the Parade and the second show from castle. The rain did put a damper on things to do. Purchased a Christmas Party T-Shirt and a Chistmas present for a member of my family.
Hung around for the Wishes fireworks and then headed back to hotel to dry off. Party would have been better if not for the rain but those are the breaks still had a good time.
