Day 6 Wednesday:
Another beautiful day, Today I head for Ohanas for breakfast with Stitch & Leo, Pludo, Mickey and Minnie. Again the chef came out to discuss my meal even though it is served family style we did change the sticky bread for wheat toast but everything else was fine. Had tomato juice was getting tired of orange juice and I cant have grapefruit due to medication. Again a member of the table sitting next to me took my picture with each of the characters. They all made the rounds and I did not miss anyone. They had the march around the tables with the little ones that was so cute. Really enjoyed the coffee. Poly has the best coffee in Disney IMHO.
After breakfast I head over to MK to finish up what rides I missed that I wanted to do and repeat some.
Dinner was at the Brown Derby and again very little wait ADR was for 4:30 as I wanted to se Fantasmic again.
Josh my waiter was so helpful and I choose the Pork Belly/Scallop appetizer without the relish. Main course was Steak and Desert was sugar free cheesecake. Everything was so good and service was excellent I would go here again for sure.
I must say I have not been disappointed with any of the restaurant at MGM outside of the lack of sauce at Mama Melrose and I am sure if I had said something they would have added more.
Off to Fantasmic again very enjoyable.
Picked up my Donald Sweat Jacket I wanted, I have a Grumpy but I really wanted Donald found my size here.
OK off to hotel for a nightcap and a goodnights rest very much needed.
The rehap of the WL rooms is so well done and the beds are so comphy I really love it here, this is my second home.
Just wish they do something about the TV programming it really stinks.
Also get rid of Stacy for Gods sakes.
Day 7 Thursday:
This is a day of rest and final shopping as I leave early Saturday Hop on boat to CR for breakfast at Concourse Steakhouse. No wait Chef made me the most awesome French toast it was so Yummmmieee!!!
It was covered with bananas and a macadamia nut Carmel sauce sugar free. This has beat out the Tonka Toast peoples. Had a side piece of ham with it.
Went back to hotel and read for a while and relaxed in the gorgeous Lobby in front of the huge fireplace.
Went to MK for a short while to pick up a couple of items I had seen since I had an AP this was easy for me to do.
Dinner was at Artist Point. Short wait and was seated by the window and my waiter explain the items on the menu so I could make my choices. I choose the Steam Mussles, Buffalo Steak, and for desert they had a very special Apple Tart sugar free with Vanilla Bean Sugar Free ice cream. Very Good. I must say the Buffalo was so good; I never had it before so it was a change for me. I know their Salmon is good but I was dying to try the Buffalo. Had a coffee afterwards and off to bed.
Day 8 Friday Final Day-End of my Dream:
Today is Epcot day. Had breakfast at WC this morning early as I need to get to AK to see Nemos Musical first before I go to Epcot. This was a very well done and entertaining show. Only thing is why we had to register for the show is a mystery as they never checked for AP passes or registration form.
OK hop on bus for Epcot and head for Mission Space (Green Version) first time on this and I LOVED IT. Had to do it again. No line here so it was easy.
Next I did Test Track this was a first also headed for single rider line and wait was 10 min. enjoyed it but wont do it again a little rough for my back so I was not going to temp faith.
Now I headed for Energy and short wait inside.
Next was Soaring and this was a very long wait but having had to walk all the way up the ramp and down the stairs as the escalators where not working again I was not about to go back out and come back (Whish they would put the fast pass machines outside the Land so you would not have to walk all the way in this is a pain. Living with the land had no fast pass and the line was huge so I skipped it.
It now is time for Dinner at Germany before CP
This was a little bit of a wait about 15 min. was seated with 2 other groups and we soon got to know each other.
The food was excellent I love German food as my Grandmother was German. I had no problems finding anything that would fit my diet. After about a ½ hour the band came out and did some Christmas numbers and had all the kids dancing on the floor it was so cute. Finished dinner and looked around the shops for awhile and they got in line for CP.
This was the highlight of the evening and so lovely. Rita Moreno did a wonderful moving performance.
After the show I slowly headed back over to Future world before Illumination since I had already seen it I wanted to finish up a couple more attractions before I left as the next morning I will leave for home.
SO to the end of my report I have to say I have the most wonderful memories and this truly was a trip to remember as I enter my retirement. Maybe there will be another time maybe not only time will tell but I have my memories to keep me HAPPY FOR A LONG TIME.
I THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING ME MAKE THIS TRIP POSSIBLE
