World of Disney progress?

Hello!

Anyone noticed any progress on the new World of Disney store being built on the Gaumont site? Have looked on DLRP but no updates since the early part of last year and I know it was supposed to open "early 2012".

I guess they must be planning to have it open for kick off of the 20th anniv?

You would have thought the planning would have been better so it opened earlier in the year. I was really hoping it would be open late March.

I know! I was reading a comment on DLRP that the construction had basically ground to a halt towards the end of last year for some reason.

Very sad it won't be ready in time for my, as yet unbooked, May/June trip

Oh well, yet another excuse to go back I just hope the other shops don't let me down in May/June due to the imminent opening of the new big exciting one

I don't really rate many of the stores at the Village, that's why I was hoping this would be open earlier.

It's located on the side of the Gaumont theatre, just opposite and facing the TGV train station, and right of the entrance to Disney village

basically it will be a huge disneystore (roughly speaking) it will replace the current disneystore.
