What is the best way to get good spot/seats for this?? We went in October and had made reservations for the picnic and we were in the blue section and could see much of any of it from the angel we were at and people in front of us.

Get to the waiting area early, about 15 minutes ahead of what the Show Pass says. As soon as you are let into Paradise Park, take a spot by a rail. Don't feel the need to be by the water, the upper levels are just as nice when you don't have to look through people.

WOC is awesome...if you have a good viewing spot. Most spots are not that good unless you are very tall. To get a good spot for kids or vertically challenged adults, you need to do your homework. Here is a good starting point.
