Hi,

I was wondering what the difference between the dining packages and VIP? Does anyone know about the VIP viewing and how much it would cost?

VIP viewing is for Club 33 members and other guests of Disney. I haven't read of someone paying for it just to watch WOC. The Preferred Dining FP packages have the center viewing area, up front or further back depending on which package you choose.

Yes, but if you purchase VIP services for the day it gives you reserved access to the shows. So, where would that be?

That would be done by booking a VIP tour. The cost is $400-$550 an hour (depending on season). You have to book a minimum of 6 hours, and it covers 10 people. You get VIP access to most rides and viewing for shows.

$500 per hour, minimum of 6? so $3,000 for getting in line first and a better viewing seat? Yikes!

Yes, I know what the VIP Tour does. Our question is where in the WOC area do they stand in comparison to the WOC dining package positions.

I was answering the OP. They asked about the cost.
The VIP viewing for WOC has benches to sit. It is below the Carthay Circle Viewing Area.

Thank you for explaining. So the benches are in front of people who are standing? Are there any people standing in front of the VIP benches?

I am not sure if VIP is worth it if you have to pay top dollar for it. Yikes, is right!!!
BTW, thanks for your responses.

You may want to read the entire first post of the WOC super thread I linked to. :)
Show lasts 26 minutes. The map shows areas that would give better views (green stars). Since most of the viewers will be standing, your view of the show will be partly determined by: 1) how tall you are, and 2) how tall the people are in front of you.
The map also shows the wet zone area of viewing, but it also depends on whether there's a breeze.
