World of Color - the latest??

I am so confused by the WOC thread - I imagine because it is constantly evolving. We are planning to go to the 9 p.m. show tonight and we have FPs in the blue section. Can someone who has been very recently tell me at what time they allow people to line up? A few weeks ago after reading the reports I concluded that we needed to arrive at 7 p.m. to get a rail spot, but more recent reports make it sound like if we arrive at 7 we are going to stand around in a disorganized blob and then hope we are standing in the right place to be in front when the line forms. If that's the case I'd prefer to show up when the line forms and hope for the best!

I was there on Saturday and right now the CMs set up the barricade around the light tower and the LMR around 7-7:15. If you get there around 7pm, you should be able to be right by the barricade. My DBFS 7 and I got to the waiting area around 6:45 and we were right next to the blockade. The CMs made everyone wait until it was around 7:45 when they let all the guests with the 9pm FP to go into the viewing area. We got to the viewing area for the blue section and got the front B2 viewing area. They went back to the mob waiting area. Disneyland 1951 said they tried a line right by the WCT in July than they went back to the mob area again.
