World of Color Fastpass

Since I will be staying at the Disney Graand Californien Hotel, is there way to get the fastpass for the world of color on the Dec. 31 12:15am show, and how can I get the fastpass....

It will be tricket. The WoC Show tickets are distributed in order, 1st show, 2nd show, 3rd show. For each show they go out in color order of Blue, Yellow Red.

You will have to time it to be there when the last show tickets are being distributed.

You get them from the FP machines near Grizzly River Rapids.

I'd ask the CMs working at the distribution. This is a unique circumstance of a third show plus the holiday. Maybe someone that was there last year could give you an idea. You may have tO stock the area all morning.

I thought they didn't give FPs for third shows but they may do it that day because of the holiday

It's just REALLY unpredictable, because that is New Year's Eve so all bets are off because crowds will be so different that day compared to any other day of the year. They also haven't had three shows in one day in a very long time, so we can't even give you general information really. Normally if someone was dead-set on seeing the later show and didn't want to play the waiting game, I'd recommend ordering a picnic, but I just went to the website and it looks like they are not offering a picnic for the 12:15 AM show that day.

If it's imperative that you see that show and not the earlier ones, you'll really just have to stalk the machines. The CM working will be able to tell you what show and what color is currently being distributed. I think I can safely say the third show won't be distributed in the first hour, but that's all I'm willing to say!

No, It could be anytime between noon and 5pm, it's really hard to say. That night is very unique.

You can walk to the area and ask what show and color they are currently on, and keep checking as the day goes on. I would guess you aim to be there at about 1pm, but because of that day in particular which is the busiest of the year, you should go by the distribution area and check.

What I would do is get a FP for Soarin early. Swing by and check what WoC show passes they are on, then ride Soarin. Check again ride Little Mermaid. Check again ride GRR. Check again, visit Dug and Russel in Redwood Creek Challenge Trails. And so on.

I'd be curious to see if this is something you could ask about from the GCH concierge? They might have something special set up for guests that want to see that showing ... could call and ask ahead of your visit.

Alternately if you don't want to wait in the long lines, you could always watch it from the viewing balcony over near the villas.

Just some added thoughts since you've already had some good advice from PPs.
