All the threads I could find on this are a year old so I don't know how accurate they still are. We want to have dinner at Ariel's Grotto and I'm interested to hear from folks who have done this recently. Is it still so crowded that it's better than trying to see it with a FP? We will be there on Oct. 3, a Monday - what time is the show? I know that's off season, is it still at 8:15? So what time should the dinner reservation be? And do they take reservations 30 or 60 days out? Any advice is much appreciated! :goodvibes

60 days out. That is a Mickey's Halloween party night and that will cause non MHP ticketed guests to go over to DCA late in the day. In any case WoC is still busy as you implied, yes you need the Show Tickets and to plan well.

Eat early, you will still want to show up well before the show begins. You should expect the show to start at 8:15.

Did you see this thread?

I just did the dining package on Tuesday at AG.

It is still really crowded especially for the first show, but the FPs last much longer now. The show will probably be at 8 or 8:15 in October.

Dinner res should be 3 hours before the show if you want a good spot.

I also saw WOC last night with a regular yellow FP. That worked fine and I got a good viewing spot.

Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to make reservations! DIS board buddies are the best!
