World hopper questions

I have been looking on ebay and other sites (plus the newspaper) to see what kind of deal I can get on Hopper tickets and I am getting confused!!

If you have a ticket that has unused days on it, can you "sell" the remaining days, and if so, what is the going rate?

I will be in FW Sun thru Sat (leaving Sat) and will be going to park only three or four days, so if anywone can help me - PLEASE.

I would not recommend buying hopper passes from ebay! For one thing - the passes are "non-transferable" so technically, they can't sell them. And, you have no way of knowing whether or not the passes are legitimate, or if they even have any days left on them! You're taking a big chance, sending money to somebody - without a guarantee! There's no way to check to see if there are any days left on them, until you try to get in the gate at WDW!

I would recommend buying a 4-day hopper pass. That way, you have the freedom to hop between the parks on the days that you're there - and if you don't use the 4th day, you can save it for next trip!

After looking at some of the things people are selling I AGREE completely.

We are always looking for a way to make the trip more affordable, but may not be the way.

I don't blame you - we're always looking for ways to save money, especially at WDW, too. But, I gave up on finding "deals" on the passes. The best price you will get is either with a Disney Club membership or through Ticket Res here on this site. Disney just won't let the tickets be sold any cheaper, unfortunately.

But, there are plenty of ways to go to WDW on a budget! We save money on meals, by making some at our own campsite, splitting meals at the restaurants, and eating our "big" meal out at lunchtime, then having dinner at the campsite or at the Trail's End Buffet.

Have you checked out the Budget Board yet? You'll get lots of good ideas there!
