I would fall under the 6'1 to 6'4 height range.. I'm officially 6'3 1/2 and my wife is 5'2 to 5'4 range.. Haha. I guess I could be Beast or Sully which isn't so bad. Glad to see my wife could be a Penguin.. Hahahaha

We did a NCL cruise a few years back and the cruise director was reported to have beena past friend of Goofy. His height and mannerisims fit the bill perfectly!

He said he had to look out of goofys neck to see and that for some who are "taller" it was very uncomfortable the way they had to maneuver to see. Look Im just passing along fun info. Who knows if he's lying or not but it was cute info I wanted to share that's all. He was also telling fun facts about the magic kingdom.

We are training a man in my Starbucks store and I asked him what he was doing before he came to Starbucks and he said he was GOOFY!!! I just about died lol. Then today he told us all fun facts about WDW and we all just loved it to bad he's leaving for a different store

That was an amazing list pp-just wondering whether friends of face characters (princes/ princesses) also have to fit a height requirement? I remember watching voyage of the little mermaid once and Ariel very very small compared to Eric! The following year they were able to 'kiss' at the end without her having to be on her tiptoes and without him looking like he needed to break his back!!!!

Also wondering what princess I would be..... According to my height on the list-I'd be the pink hippo-which my DH thinks is very apt

I'm afraid I started the height thing, but honestly, I wasn't trying to call anyone out; when OP said she had met a former Goofy I just thought "I'll bet he's tall, all the Goofys I've met have been!"

I don't believe they always stick to these height restrictions that closely. I know that when we were at the Epcot Character Spot Minnie went on break right before we met her and she was a good 6 inches shorter when she came back.

That list doesn't include face characters; you could also be Gaston, which I think would be the most fun job in the World right now!

It does get tiresome to see time and time again people with the best intentions get slammed and run off from posting because of the quick jump by some on the boards to show off their Disney Superiority.

I saw the post and was truly interested in hearing the funny facts she or he may have been able to share with us and instead before one could blink he or she had to first fight off the quick barrage......and then silence.

Come on..I understand that there may be no bad intentions but there is a way to say things. Without skilled writing, your comments come off as attacks. Questions with little difficulty could have been crafted a little more delicately.

I appreciated ALL the comments... but try to be more sensitive otherwise it is just the same group of people sharing and highjacking every thread.

A former co-worker was a friend of Snow White and Belle, but was closer with Belle. She is about 5'6". She had had some interesting insight into different stuff. It's been a while, but I do recall that there was quite a bit of prep time before they go on stage. A large portion on the shift was in hair, make-up and costume. They are also paid different hourly wages depending on whether they are doing meet and greets or riding in a parade or part of a show etc.

If something doesn't ring true to me here, I will say so. I don't care if it's a 5'5" Goofy, a 6'2" Dopey, or someone claiming they had a great trip solely because FP saved them time on JII.
