Working on the golf swing

My 6 yr old is doing the same thing.
We play from the Blue tees. He usually flys the red tees, tees it up again from there. We go to the fairway and pick his ball up. I play mine from where it is. Once we get to the green he drops his ball in the rough and chips it up and then putts out.
Its great to get out there with kids.

My older DS has been playing golf with his Daddy since he was about that age as well. I think its a great way for Dad/Son to bond.

DD plays with her dad...we just got back from Maui and she called him to tease him because she played Kapalua. Granted it was only the 18 hole putting green "course" but it was Kapalua...and he was mighty jealous!

DW and I played Kapalua on our honeymoon!! It's an awesome course!!

I wish FIL was around to watch DS swing the club -- he would have really loved to be able to take him out onto the course and have all 3 generations golfing together. BIL and I will take him out in a year or two, when he gets a little older, but it won't quite be the same without FIL.
