Working on my ROAR! Jaxon's first trip to see Mickey Mouse!

note to self: DO NOT change the name of album in Photobucket, as your pictures on threads WILL disappear :upsidedow

we all liked the cabins because it was so peaceful, and it was great to sit out on the deck in the mornings with a cup of coffee and watch the squirrels and the Woodpeckers (we saw at least 10) right next to our cabin... plus you don't feel like you're in a hotel room:thumbsup2

Yeah, that does sound lovely. And that cabin looks more isolated than I had imagined when just looking at the map. :thumbsup2

We were surprised to see a couple of those woodpeckers (Northern flicker?) a while back, in a downtown park! Didn't get any pictures, though, and they were not exactly in "front porch" range. ;)

sorry I haven't been on much... been having a lot of issues with my neck/shoulder/TRAPEZIUS... I've had problems with it since July 2009 after my surgery for ovarian cancer (which by the Grace of God) I ended up not having: but I've had problems with my neck ever sense this time (long story) but the past few weeks I've been in extreme pain and even having spasms

not a lot has happened on the homefront as far as making decisions on where we will stay, but I did decide I don't want to trade my Avalanche in for a Tahoe at this time... it will only seat 5 of us so will have have to figure out a vehicle for Stephanie and Josh to drive ( Steph's just takes too much gas) ... we will figure something out...

I have started watching Disney Movies and sing-a-longs each day with Jaxon... he still isn't really into them though, but I figure by this time next year I'll have him familiar with most of the Disney Characters ::yes::

we took Jaxon to the pumpkin patch this week ...he had everyone there laughing at him when he was trying to pick up ones that were bigger than he was

so we had to run to the grocery store after dinner this evening and when we walked in they had a display of Mickey Mouse rain ponchos.... Danny and I have the Disney rain ponchos already but in most cases Danny refuses to wear one. I always buy some of the cheap rain ponchos from the Dollar Store just to have on hand...
a few trips back one day when we were at EPCOT the sky just opened up and let loose... this is common in Florida but this one caught us off guard. it was pouring so hard even Danny decided it would be in his best interest to put one on for a few minutes... we weren't close enough to dash into a store or building as we were on the walkway by the roses... we tried to stand under the umbrellas that they position by the benchs for a little shade but they would fill with water and then a gust of wind would blow the water over the side... we were trying to decide which way to run when a lady with a child in a stroller tried to take cover under the umbrella... she had gotten separated from her husband trying to keep the child in the stroller dry... I whipped out one of my throwaway ponchos and offered it to her to cover the stroller... she gladly accepted and was very grateful ::yes::

so tonight I bought one child size Mickey Mouse Club poncho and 2 adult, one Mickey and one Minnie... they are made pretty nice, not like the throwaways... they were only $2.50 each, which is pretty good since it was the grocery store

i just realized I posted all these POTC pictures without an explanation... the day these were taken (I am sure many of you are saying tsk tsk she was using her flash) but I am one of those sticklers for the rules and I never use flash on a ride that says not too... I think it ruins the ambiance ... but on this day the ride broke down, and we started drifting backwards... after about 5 minutes I said I'm gonna take take some flash pictures (everyone else already was) after about 15 minutes the lights came on and you could see everything! we were stuck drifting backwards for about 45 minutes and when we got off they gave us a fastpass good for any ride in the park that day
