Working on a HS preliminary plan - can you do F! & Osborne Lights afterward?

Hollywood Studios is always the park that I struggle with for various reasons, but anyway, I am working on a first draft plan and thinking about what I'd like to do for FP+ and what not. This year, will be the first time that I am not doing the F! dining package. My thought is to make it one of my 3 FP+ if I can get it. Or, I can try and grab a 4th FP+ for it, since Robo has said that they are often available, if not take my chances and just try and show up early, we will grab dinner and take it over and eat while waiting. What I am really unsure of, is will I have enough time to view the Osborne Lights if I do it after Fantasmic? We are going on 11/13 and F! is listed for 7pm and closing is listed at 8pm. This is my idea so far, will be doing rope drop:

GMR
Star Tours 2x
Muppets
VOTLM
Hollywood Brown Derby ADR 12pm
TSMM FP+
*Frozen Singalong FP+
Indy
Beauty & Beast
F! FP+
*Osborne Lights

*Have never done these, so they would be a priority.

Yes, the lights will stay on for a while after Fantasmic, so head right over there after you leave the show.

We were at WDW in early Dec 2012 and walked over to the Osborne Lights right after Fantasmic. Actually, now that I think of it, we went on the great movie ride right after Fantasmic. By the time we got off the ride, the park was either closed or about to close. It was practically empty. We walked over to the Osborne Lights and had the street almost all to ourselves. It was amazing! We bought the kids popcorn at the little cart and just hung out there for about 30 minutes while the kids ate popcorn and ran around. It may have been the best night of our trip!

They are usually on for a half hour or so, so you will want to hustle over there to spend any longer amount of time.

Plan looks good to me. You can easily get in multiple rides on Star Tours the first hour the park is open. Another option would be TSMM FP right before lunch, might add more time/flexibility in afternoon for working around the fixed show times of Indy and B&B and Frozen.

Thanks for sharing your amazing experience. :) Do you remember if it was an 8pm park closing when you went? I am hoping I can manage to get over there in time.

Thanks. I will do my best to hustle. There's not as much giddy up in my step as there used to be.

Thanks for your feedback. I was thinking I would be able to get in 2 rides and not need to FP+ ST. My friend doesn't ride, so it'll only be me, so I didn't want to get a FP for it this year. She usually just hangs out and people watches, she gets motion sickness. I will look at the show times, and see about switching VOTLM and TSMM. See if I can try and get an earlier FP+ for TSMM. I know last year, I got a late time and wasn't able to move it.

My experience has been that they stay on for a good hour after official closing time, so you don't really need to hustle.

It was an 8pm closing night. I don't think we left the park until almost 9 (maybe quarter to 9?) and the lights were still on. Enjoy your trip!

Does a lot of people head to the lights after fantasmic

Yes, but it doesn't stay crowded for long. I'd that after 15-30 minutes it'll be noticeably less crowded. (I've easily stayed for an hour after Fantasmic ended.)

Wow, I usually leave directly after F! I've never tried to stay later. When you guys have stayed until 9 are you taking WDW buses back?

Yep. I've never rented a car in 10 trips, and besides, Disney won't leave you stranded in a park. Buses will run until the park is empty, and I would assume the bus drivers know that the Osborne lights stay on well after official closing time.
