Working New Years Eve/Day?

I work 5pm - 1am both days. Thankfully, working in a casino isn't so bad on New Year's Eve. We got a memo today saying the hats, tiaras, horns, noise makers and glowstick necklaces were on the way. Now, if only we could syncronize the entire floor to ONE countdown instead of eight different ones...LOL.

I'm off NYE but start work at 7am on NYD so no partying late for me! At least I get paid double time so its not so bad. DH is working 2pm to 2am on NYE then 2pm to 10pm on NYD so it looks like a text message at midnight to wish him a happy NY as I am sure he will be busy as he is also a Police Officer.

I have to work a regular day on New Year's Eve (until 8:30 am until 5:30 pm), but we get a paid holiday for New Year's Day. Yippie! I don't really have any plans for NYE though.

I am working 4p-12a NYE and then turn back around. And have to be back in at 8a-8p on NYD.... so no partying at all for me....

work 11-6 NYE, won't know about NYD till I get to work as the scedule wasn't up when I worked last.

i work nyd 7a-3p to save the sanity of the few sane residents we have. i'm letting their reg nurse party as i know she will weather or not she's suspossed to be at work. chances are i'll get a call into work for nye too.
