Working at Disney/Retirement question

To those here to work at Disney, I was wondering what their retirement benefits were like when you work for them full time. Thanks.

My sister is a CM and she just went full time. She is still waiting to hear the benefits. I will let you know that it isn't easy to get hired on full time to begin with for many positions. For most positions, you have to work part time and wait for a full time opening. For instance, at DTD, they don't have very many full time openings. My sister worked a year before an opening came for which she could apply. When a full time opening becomes available, the person with the most seniority that applies will get the position. Disney actually prefers part time employees for most sales and park positions.

Thanks for the info! That makes sense that Disney prefers part timers so they don't have to pay full timers benefits.
