Wording on tickets question

I just received my Universal tickets in the mail today. I ordered 5 one day one park tickets. We were only planning on going to IOA.

My question - 1 ticket says "1 day Base COMP - Access to One Park" and 4 tickets say "1 Day + PTP COMP - Access to both parks". Does the wording on the 4 tickets mean we can go between the parks? I think it does but since I ordered 1 park/1 day passes I wanted to get an expert ruling.

If we do have park to park access, can I upgrade the single pass?

Thanks for your help.

You can upgrade if you want. I'm not familiar with the wording on the new tickets but someone will come along to help you.

I think PTP means "Park to Park" seems like you have one ticket for just one park and the others are park hoppers.

The part that's confusing me is that you say you ordered tickets and yet the tickets say COMP on them. Comp tickets are free tickets given by either guest services or team member complimentary tickets. Did you pay for these tickets? But both comp tickets and regular purchased tickets can be upgraded to include both parks. It's around $30 to upgrade them.

Thanks for all your help. To clear things up, I bought these on an online auction site. So the person who sold them to me must have received them for free which is why they say COMP. They were listed as one day/one park passes but you all agree that the pass wording seems to indicate they are Park to Park passes. Good news for us, the kids will be thrilled.

db, any chance I could get that ebay id so I can see if they have anymore tickets for sale? Looking for a deal!

Careful with these "comp" tickets you buy on ebay or online auctions. The only legit auctions I know of that sell comp tickets are auctions that are used for donating the proceeds to charity. I hope you do not get the surprise when you get to the park that the tickets are expired, used or returned.

Expect to see a flood of these with the grad night kids getting free tickets. Some of these kids (or parents) could be out to make a quick buck :rolleyes1
