Everyone that has gone on there has now just confirmed, to them anyway, that the information they have is accurate because you asked them to remove it. Most of that information is easily accessed on the web already-look at 411.com and they will have your name, address, phone number and age there. It is probably something like that and then they add the rest of the stuff based on demographics of your area. Mine said I play hockey--never have in my life. I looked up several people that are not on there at all and the ones I did find their information is wrong.

I agree, all my info that was on there is public record as I had said. The demographic thing sounds correct because I live real close to two big shopping malls plus strip mall haven. They said I enjoy shopping and enjoy retail shopping. YUCK... anyone who knows me knows I HATE shopping!!

The only correct information on that site is publicly available information anyway so I am not worried about it. As someone who works in I.T. you would be astonished at how much information people put out into the Interwebs themselves.

There is enough information on many people's Facebook pages to social engineer your way into their email account and once in there that same information along with their email can get you into bank accounts, credit card sites, and just about anything else.

And when people think they have their profiles locked down, think again. All that "private" information sits on very public servers, servers with ways in. Data breaches happen all the time.

Never put anything online that you wouldn't want posted on a billboard next to the highway and you will be much better off.

DH and I found it hilarious though, he is apparently a white male in his 20's who lives in a 1mil+ home in a below average neighborhood. He's a black male in his 30's btw My bro in law came up as a female!

I think your husband has my race because I am coming up as black. I'll come by and drop it off though since we must be neighbors. I also live in a below average neighborhood in a million dollar + house and there is no way there is more then one of those.

Are you guys missing any children because I also was given some of those. I guess in exchange for the children they took away some of my college, since only some is left.

Most of the stuff is right. Except I don't play sports and I do not have a graduate degree.

I'm not going to give them any of my info to remove what they have.

So I live in a 1M+ home without central heat or air in a below avg neighborhood. My house does have a fireplace.

I guess it is below avg if I don't have central heat or air.

My husband's home is only worth $400K-600k, he does not have a fireplace (guess that's why my house is more expensive), He has a high school diploma (but got a letter from his college alum assn today). He also changed races while I was not looking. He also must have changed his birthdate, because now he's a Capricorn, when I always thought he was a Gemini.

We both live with my maiden name and there are 3 parents in the house.

I'm all over the internet, signed up everywhere, yet they don't have me listed at. I keep my privacy on Facebook VERY tight.

My DH, who is also on the computer all the time, but not for recreational reasons, is listed, but does not list me as spouse. Just about all of it is wrong. Didn't even have house #. Very long list of hobbies and some are seriously funny. Reminds me of the interests you check off on warranty cards.

My brother who has never touched a computer. Not listed.

My BIL, who I would think would be somewhat looser on his privacy settings on Facebook, is listed, along with linked to his wife & daughter. Son not listed. Most info seems to come from the fact they recently built a house and moved.

No pictures of anyone.

THEN, I did mine again using email address since it couldn't find me by name. It has my FB profile pic & some trip photos also posted on FB. Just normal vacation pictures of places. Nothing to worry about hiding. BTW, my FB pics are set at "friends of friends". Everything else is friends only and I'm very tight on who I approve & what people can see. It does list my name as I have it listed on FB.

Not worried at all.

That was hilarious. It has pretty much everything about me wrong. I have a Hispanic last name so they just listed me as Hispanic. Nothing farther from the truth. Most everything else wrong also.

So for giggles I looked up my dad. They have him listed as mid thirties. But the funny part was where they listed his interests. Says he has no children but has young grandchildren--how does that happen. He has 3 kids and 5 grandchildren,all except one is either teens or grown. Enjoy cooking (I guess if they call slapping some bacon in a pan and throwing a pot of rice on the stove cooking then ok). Some of the funniest was enjoys knitting and wine (my dad does not drink not one drop and never ever has). Enjoys cruises and country music and entertainment and plays sports. That made me laugh until I cried. It would you too if you knew my dad.

On to my mom. All of the exact same interests including playing sports

Apparently she works from home although my mom hasn't worked in about 20 years. If they count snoring on the couch with the TV on and smoking and drinking coffee working from home, then I guess she does.
