Woot! Saved on AoA today

Fall room discounts came out today and I noticed a 15% discount for room-only during the part of my stay that is, in fact, room only (we're doing things outside of the parks the first two nights). Called Disney and had no problems applying the change. They then looked up my package reservation which already had free dining, and figured out that I didn't save anything unless I dropped free dining, which I decided not to do.

Anyway - nice surprise saving $100 on the trip

What are the dates the discount is good for? I tried to get a discount last night for our fall stay at AoA and cm told me there were none (passholder or Fl resident). I am just wondering if I should try again.

The fall room only discount came out this morning for various dates in Oct-Dec. It should be on the Disney site under Special Offers. Good luck!

I called and ask about it. The cm said the discount begins Sept. 30th......2 weeks late for us.

Bummer. The Sept deals were out months ago and have expired. So sorry you missed them. I bet FD would save a lot for your small army!

We didn't miss it, the free dining deal doesn't work for us anymore. We have to buy a ticket for each person and we already have passes. Plus, we don't intend to be there that long. Our 4 youngest want to stay at AoA, so we are going for 2 nights. I made a room only reservation a couple of months ago, hoping for a discount to come out later. If I had a room discount for the same dates, we would stay another night. When Disney first began free dining years ago, it was nice for us. We would upgrade the 1 day ticket we were required to buy (to seasonal passes)and stay 3 or 4 nights. Too bad they changed the rules because it saved us TONS!
