Woops! Appear to have just booked Feb!

Following a couple of chats on here and hunting for a winter break online, I've just booked to go to Orlando again Feb half term. Took steering advice from Wayne and opted for the Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista with a kids suite in the room. Worked out to £40 per night with the kids suite or would have been £30 without. We quoted around for ages and could not get it cheaper booking separately even with cash back.

BA got the deal, total cost £2250 including direct flights, all fees and our Channel Island leg (which normally sets us back an extra £100 pp). We're shock horror not planning on Disney for the Feb trip as we are there this year but have never done Universal with the little people so that's the plan. I suspect we will have to go to Downtown Disney just to get a bit of a mouse fix!

That sounds like an excellent deal. By not doing Disney you are going to save a few bucks there as well. I just know that if we did that we would def end up going into one of the parks at least!

Well I think that's an amazing happenstance that you've booked a holiday to Orlando although as Vanda says I'm so damn sure I couldn't go there and be that close and not go into Disney, especially EPCOT.

Anyway I'm very jealous as I'd love to have a countdown ticker to Disney for next year, even though we are going to Africa this year but hopefully as soon as Disney announce their offers I'll be jumping in there as well.

Lol, thank you x My husband is literally pulling his hair out, half in excitement and half in stress! It was cheaper than going to Spain for us, with better weather and lots to do x

We could have got it £200 pounds cheaper staying at a different hotel but there is so much for the little people to do here in case the weather is naff and the other hotels had not v nice ratings x
