Our Drive in is showing POC tonight and the 2nd feature is Cars ! What a great combo. To add to my excitment my Magical Express documents arrived today !

Wow, I haven't been to a drive-in since I was like 10 yrs old.
I didn't realize there were any left.

the drive in. We have one about 5 minutes from our home. Its in Clermont,IN.
Where else can you go to movies with 4 kids aged 10,8,2 and 4months and not worry about disturbing someone else's movie watching and only spend 20 buckaroos to get in? And we either carry in pizza or pack a cooler.

I just looked it up and there are a couple of drive-in's within about 30 miles of us. Our kids have never been to one, but I bet they would love it. It looks like one of them is $5/adult and kids are free, and the other one is $8/car. That's quite a bargain for our family.

I'm not far from you. I'm planning on driving to the one in Albemarle tomorrow night to see the triple feature. That's going to be one late night!

Have you been there before? If so, I'd love to hear what you think about it. And if not, let me know after you go.

We're in Indian Trail, so it looks like that one is about 30 miles from us and there is another in Belmont that is about the same distance.

I'd love to take the kids. The only thing I'd be worried about is whether it's a family-friendly environment. When we lived in San Diego in the 90's, there were a couple of drive-in's, but from what I heard, they were big hangouts for teens and gang members.
