WOOHOOO! We were just selected to a trial of FastPass+, for lunch at Be Our Guest!

We got to pre-order our meal, and will go right to the head of the line when we go for lunch on the Friday of our holiday! I have not been able to get dining ressies there, so even this, for lunch, will be a huge treat! I'm so jazzed!

It came as an email. It was specific as far as being only for me and my party. Ie, my Mom is going with us on a separate-but-linked ressie, and I couldn't include her....
Same way as a PIN....

We did ours today at www.beourguestlunch.go.disney.com ...it was available to those staying onsite and dates to June 13 should now be open..we are west coast and June 12 avail today ...

You can do a separate FP for her. You can only do it by room. I did this for us and my parents who are on a separate but linked reside.

Thats weird that they are just now sending out emails about it. This has been an option for months now. We did a FP+ for BOG back in sept.

Whether or not it has been an option for months, and it's *weird* I only found out/was offered it now, I reserve the right to be excited about something on my first family vacation in 5 years. Just sayin'!

I didnt say you couldnt be excited. I said it was weird that disney is sending emails out about a trial. When they have had the FP website for BOG for months. It isnt an option on the FP+ section of MDE it is a seperate website all its own. So the good thing is that you dont sacrifice a FP selection for BOG you still get your 3 choices.

That's awesome! And we WERE going to POR too, but switched to POP to be near my mom who didn't want to spring for POR...

I talked to someone in tech support about it and he said that while the general public was accessing the website (since the link was floating around), if you only made your reservations that way (without the email) then you'd get denied entry.

Obviously lots of people are having success booking through the link (I did, I only called IT cause my trip dates changed and I couldn't figure out how to change them in the BOG website), but I've seen a couple of threads popping up around here with people getting turned away.

Wonder when that started. Must have been recently. I think this is one thing they did backwards.
