WooHoo - SW Dings out for October!

I was getting freaked out b/c this is the first time I had to buy 4 tix instead of 2 (we're bringing the IL's for christmas/bday/mother's day/father's day present) and the rates were crazy. Just dinged today for $59 each way so it only cost $542 for 4 from ALB-MCO - YEAH!!! Anyone else get lucky today?

I got an email from them for Summer Saver Fares (?).
We're going down to Tampa for a few days before Disney, so we got the $59 fare, too!
We did get the $99 fare initially to Tampa. So now I have $160 in Travel Funds to be used for our flight for our Disney Cruise next April.

We paid $146 (Ouch!) to come back up, MCO to Long Island. I'm hoping to be getting a MUCH CHEAPER fare as our trip gets closer.....I'm sure they'll release Some Sort of Sale!

I cancelled the 4 tickets I booked in April(needed for our September trip),was credited the amount, then I rebooked for 1/2 the amount I originally paid.

The cost is now the same as the tickets we purchased for our trip this past May....YeeHa!

I don't subscribe to Ding, just the specials offered. Apparently the amounts are the same for both.

the Dings aren't always the same price though....yesterday I got Ding for $44. Today the sale for the same flight is $59. I know, not much difference, but every little bit helps!

Just got done Re-booking for our Oct 20-24 trip. Its a surpise Anniversary for my wife. 15 yrs . Thanks for the heads up on the special. I have the ding load on me computer at work, not here at home. I guess I don't know why, but I just don't. You helped me, saving $300. I booked this trip as soon as SW Oct dates came out, with the fear of fuel prices, for a total of $571. What, with the Internet Special $59 one-way, where can you go wrong. at $271 total now!!!!
Now this credit gives me another reason for a late spring or early summer D-trip next year.

Hi from Clifton Park I just bought our tickets for late Sept. I also had a $50 credit. I love Southwest!!!!

We also just bought our Southwest tickets yesterday for our September trip. We are also flying out of Albany, 9/22 to 9/30. Anyone else on those days? We ended up adding the 22nd because the available flight times for the 23rd and 30th weren't so great and I didn't want to feel like we were wasting days. LOL So we ended up with an extra day!! this year thanks to free dining and southwest. We, the family of 4, were just down in May on the dining plan. Told my DH about the free dining offer in August and Sept and he asked why we weren't going. I booked that night. Then I just had to wait and hope for a good airfare. And now we got it!!! Our 2 girls got the good airfare also for their July trip. Never thought they would be offering these cheap rates again. We are going 8/24 - 28. Great to see so many upstate NY'ers.
