I am so excited. We were kicking around the idea of a girls-only few days away and I just booked it! May 9-13 at WL for myself, DD 23 and DGD 1!!! We have never stayed there but it looks great. We plan on 2-3 park days and the rest of the time to be lazy/swim. Advice/WL pointers welcome!!!

Awesome! At check-in I reccomend asking if you could upgrade to the concierge. They will usually offer you a really great rate and check-in! It is so worth it!

There is 8 in our family going to WL July 2-9th. :grouphug: We will have 2 rooms. What does concierge do for you and is it really worth it?

Congrats!!! You'll love WL....we stayed there in October and it's such a beautiful resort!!

I too am going to be at the WL from May25 to June1. Hope to see your trip report before I leave for some great ideas :teeth:

I was lucky enough to get a postcard for the woods view rate of $137. I didnt want the noise from the courtyard.

Hope you have a great trip :wave2:

Concierge offers a lite menu (finger food, snacks, etc.) and beverages throughout the day, and desserts at night. They will help you with making a PS (priority seating) and the concierge staff will interact much more with guests than normal CM's.

Is it worth it? That's a very personal question: some people love the pampering, while others feel it's a lot of money for snacks and chit-chat. One thing, concierge offers the most value when you use their vacation planning services before your arrival.

Congratulations! I haven't stayed at the WL, but I will be going there for my honeymoon in May also! I'm sure you're DGD will have fun running around the parks!

We LOVE the Lodge - thats why its our 2nd "home"
when I switched our stay from VWL to BCV DS wanted me to switch our Riverside stay to WL
so this Aug we'll be going back to WL for part of the vacation

Oooo! I am so jealous!

We really enjoy sitting around the lodge and hanging out. the pool is great....and so are the drinks at the pool bar! Try the lumberjack! YUM! Also, I enjoy riding the boat over to Fort Wilderness (or take the beautiful trail...it is about 1 mile and a lovely walk) and let the kids check out the free petting zoo and the pony rides ($3 a ride.) There are peacocks roaming the property and the huge Budweiser horses are stabled there and you can walk thru the barn.

During the day, the Cub's Den has little projects and stuff the kids can do...and starting at 4:30 pm you can check your kids in there ($10 an hour which includes dinner) and maybe have a cocktail at the Territory Lounge and/or dinner at AP. Try a martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. Mmmmm...

The breakfast at WCC is a great value, IMO! $9.69 for "all you care to eat" scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, waffles and my favorite...biscuits and sausage gravy!

You are gonna have a great time!

I just booked WL Woods View today too at the incredible email pin code rate of $137! May 23-28!
