Woohoo! Just booked at BLT at 7mo

So excited and had to share with people who would understand. I just switched our VWL ressie to a 2 bedroom lake view at BLT. She said it was the last one too. This is for my son's 5th birthday trip and think he will love being able to walk to MK, watching the fireworks from the lounge, and getting to ride the monorail so much. I am a little nervous about all the negative comments regarding the condition of the rooms, but hopefully it won't be too bad. I can't wait!!!

We have stayed in the 2 bedroom LK twice already and LOVED it! The walk to MK is quick and easy and if your son gets tired at the end of the day the Monorail ride back is also quick and convientent! Many have said the Monorail to Epcot takes forever but we took it there and back twice and thought it was great! It did not take that long at all! We did not take it over for rope drop or after fireworks so it maybe worse at those times of the day. Have fun!

Awesome, it is always great to hear when the 7 month window works.

We are staying at BLT for the first time in June and although a bit apprehensive about the rooms as well, not all the reviews of wear and tear are terrible. My cousin stayed last year and said yes there were some signs of it, but overall not too bad and of course there is that location

You son will have an awesome birthday no doubt! Have a wonderful trip.

Congrats on the switch.....we just changed resorts at the 7 month window as well....did go back and forth between trying for BLT or one of the epcot resorts since our focus was the f&w festival...in the end BCV won for our Sept/Oct trip........we are waitlisted at BLT for our trip in may.....just booked it a week or so ago so we were happy to get any DVC room 3 months out
