Well we went to see Father Christmas today, and we ended up seeing Katie Price as well (a.k.a. Jordan). She was signing the boxes of her new perfume in Debenhams at Lakeside. No pics of Katie though as Hubby stayed outside with the girls while i braved the crowds(and the boisterous Police+Security)to have a nosey at her+forgot Hubby had the camera-DOH!!!!!.
Here are some pics of our day out today...............
It was free to see Father Christmas+a gift each.........
The photo was £5 and the Snowglobe was £8.........
Oh and just a little something we came home with--------delicious Krispy Kreme Donuts-yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We went and saw Santa today aswell bit of a disaster though, Kyra decided she would shout that this isnt the real santa as the real one lives in Disneyland, no amount of pursading could change her mind.
We then FINALLY got to see this guy called Santa, where his beard nearly fell off (he was having to hold it to face in the end). He didnt understand a word of what Kyra trying to tell him, and she couldnt hear him through his dodgy beard.
Sorry-i thought i posted the pic......Emily got some play jewellery+Chloe got a beanie pig on a keyring, yes it was cheap, but can't complain it was free.Hubby's boss took his little girl to see Santa in Basildon+she was given a voucher for the 99p shop .
Aww Michelle your daughters looked like they loved seeing Santa
Love the pictures of the christmas market Rachel... reminds me of the one they have in DLP!!
Oooh I've just seen the coke advert... eventually!! It's finally chrismtas!!!!
we finally got to see Santa today at a stable in the grounds of Raby Castle. Raby Castle looked lovely surrounded by snow so I'll post a photo when I upload them but dh did something to the camera when we went into see Santa and turned the photos black and white and they are very blurred had to laugh at dd though, I think she thought she was at DLP .... she walked in, said hello to Santa and immediately turned around for a photo ... can you tell we have her well trained on what to do with the characters we had a great time and she got a cute little bag for a gift ... no complaints apart from dh and the camera !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night my friend Janette and I had our Christmas meal out at Frankie & Benny's. One of our friends had to pull out as she was poorly, but that didn't stop us having a great time. We both had Christmas pate, Christmas dinner and I had Christmas pudding while Jan had the cheesecake. The meal was delish, and it was polished off with a couple of pitchers of Mai Tai and a bottle of White Zinfandel. Needless to say, we were being a little silly by the time hubby came to pick us up
