Had a bit of a Christmassy day - got some prezzinspiration and ordered gifts for my DD and her fiance as well as my SIL!!! I'm feeling terribly clever...

But Richard's parents are early seventies, non-drinking non-travellers and dislike anything "foreign" I suppose they do love their gardening.......but we always fall back on that. Last year I made up a hamper myself with lots of boring things that they love and things for the garden......

Christmas!! hadn't even thought about that as have so many holidays to plan for!

Anyway just really Nathan to buy for! I shall probably be working Boxing Day so that gives us just Christmas Day off together and DMIL will come over for dinner

I always end up getting my parents clothing, slippers, smellies, gardening stuff or dvds. This year is no different! I can't even get them a voucher as they don't go out for meals, theatre or holidays etc (my dad had a stroke).

I do as well!!!!.My Nan+Grandad have everything you can possibly imagine. Every year for the past 'i have'nt got a clue years' i make them up a hamper from me+hubby and they love it,different cheeses,biscuits for cheese,jams,fruit teas,pate,biscuits,christmas cake etc...they never tire of it.
From the girls they get Grandad something like a new cardi or jumper or scarf+gloves set,for Nan they get a cardi or a scarf+gloves set,or a voucher for Bodgers for Nan to get her Estee Lauder make up with,and then something between them.This year between them i have gotten a personalised wooden photo frame.x.

Thank goodness my Credit Card has moved onto a new month, as I've just done another bit of shopping from the Christmas Shop on the Disney Store website

My dad is the easiest person in the world to buy for. As I take after him for my love of alcohol, he gets a large bottle of Rum, a gift pack of lagers, a Jack Daniels gift set and box of chocs. As for my mum, I have got her a Bronte DVD boxset (she loves those BBC period dramas), a book about the 1940's, a book about Newcastle Upon Tyne (where she originally comes from), a calendar and some Turkish Delight

Paul usually gets his dad some gift vouchers from the local garden centre (neither of them have much imagination ).

I can't put my tree up till I've put the wallpaper up in the front room, at this rate the tree won't see the light of day till next Christmas lol.
