**Woohoo !! It's Christmas Day**

With the christmas present exchange do we have to wait till Christmas day to open it?

I mentioned this to Sue the other day, and she has offered to run it again this year, so all being well she will start a thread soon :santa:

It's great getting so many cards, isn't it Karen ? :santa:

Goodness me, I really can't remember, but it was probably between 30 & 40 cards :santa:

 I am so excited - I love opening christmas cards.....I can just imagine what my door mat is going to be like when I get back from WDW after!

It was circa 40 cards, Claire... I was going to make them but when the list was so long, I settled for a little 'personalising' ;) of shop bought ones!!! :thumbsup2

Thats why I was asking how many roughly to see if I will be able to make them all.....who am I kidding I haven't even made my family one's yet! :lmao: I really need to pull my finger out!

I didn't realise you made cards Karen - do you scrapbook too?

I wouldn't be able to wait either.......I'd soon get bored of shaking and poking the pressie!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am like that too Joanne, hence my hubby won't put my pressies under the tree until we go to bed on xmas eve! :headache:

the Christmas Card exchange is great, last year I didn't open mine and took them with us when we flew on the 12th. We opened them at Saratoga and displayed them there it was great, we hope to do the same again this year. Here they are

I'm a nightmare Nat....I usually wake my hubby up on the hour every hour from 2am saying can we get up yet! He usually caves in by about 5am! :lmao: :rotfl2:

WOW! They all look gorgeous! What a great way to make your hotel room festive!!

I used to make cards, Claire but I'm really not gifted so have given up crafting as a bad job! I always have grand ideas but end up inhaling embossing powder and covered in sticky dots! And I spent a fortune on craft stuff from QVC - I'm pretty sure the woman craft expert on there has moved house on the money I've spent!!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

As for scrapbooking - I know when I'm beat... ;)

That looks fab Jules! I will have them all to look forward to when I get home on the 20th. :santa:

I love surprises too Nat, and I won't feel them or guess what they are when they're under the tree- but my Secret Santa pressy is the one that I allow myself to open early :santa:

:lmao: Oh my we are so alike! ;)

I would take photos of my craft room to show you how much stuff I have bought off of QVC but I think it would scare you! (She probably lives in a mansion as I too have spent ££££'s) My problem is I'm still buying it!

I love scrapbooking but have only made a couple of albums so far but really enjoy it, not necessarily any good at it but I like it.

Yeah, it's probably called "Chateau Karen & Claire"!!! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: I got sucked in by Dawn Bibby when I was housebound for a few months about 5 years ago - talk about a captive audience (and credit card!!!)

I have to say I remember my Mum being into craft back in the eighties, oh my oh my the dried flowers that were hanging around the place when she lost interest. They only lived in a railway cottage at the time, the place was tiny and full of dried flowers and boxes of florists oasis!
I think dried flowers were all the rage in certain circles back then!

I think it put me off for life:rotfl:

:rotfl: - so true!

Dawn certainly has a way about make you think you need it!!! I try not to watch it much now I have so much stuff I wouldn't be able to use it all in my lifetime if I crafted 10 hours a day! ;)

Hmmmmm - ebay? To add to the cruise fund maybe?

:rotfl2: Thankfully I haven't gone down that road Joanne! Only card making and scrapbooking!
