**Woohoo !! It's Boxing Day**

I always think the early the better to do Christmas cards, but I always do mine ready for Decemeber 1st. I figure that if I get mine out early then people will remember to send me one. :)

I'm going to try and wrap all of mine on Saturday :thumbsup2 DH is playing golf, so I will have the house to myself :)

My mum asked me today about Christmas Presents and what I wanted. I told her that I'd do a list at the regular time, but she then told me that my dad mentioned to her that I wanted a Big Present this year. This is true, as I want a Nintendo Wii for Christmas (As does most video gamers this year), so I told her this. She then asked a lot of questions about it, such as when it comes out and what price it was. When I mentioned the price tag of £179 she made a weird noise then told me that I would get a big surpise this Christmas.

I wonder if this is a big coincidence, or if she is really thinking of getting of it? Then again, I was in a huff and not really paying attention when she said that so she could of actually said anything!! :lmao:

Update: She reckons this year she will have an expensive christmas, as I want something big for Xmas, as does my Brother and Sister so she wanted to get things out of the way quick (that is IF she is going to get it.. :) ).

She did say that she wouldn't let me down on Christmas ~ What a kind mum! :goodvibes I'll be sure to get her a good present this year! :)

It's lovely Matt :thumbsup2

I know what my mum's getting me for xmas as Scott bought it for her and got me to confirm it was what I wanted. It's a black 80Gb ipod video!!! She felt so bad that I lost my old ipod mini on the plane going to Florida a few weeks back that she's getting me this to replace it. She feels guilty as I asked her to check the floor and she didn't see it (I doubt it was even there - some lightfingered person probably already had it in their pocket!) I can't wait to play with it, I'm gonna load it with Disney videos!!

My christmas list this year is nearly all Disney books, planning guides and books about the making of the parks/imagineering.

I remember you saying that a while ago. See good things come out bad stuff after all! :)

I just got word that the local Woolworths has finally put up their decorations. That means I can start my list!! :woohoo:

It's our tradition :)

Our Woolies didn't put it's Christmas stuff out until Halloween had passed. It's nice to see the shops looking more festive and the Christmas songs starting to play. I noticed today that in Coventry they are putting the Christmas decorations up, shame that they're being switched on by Peter Andre and Jordan this year - I think I'll give that a miss

Our lights in Adas were being swicthed on tonight by Wolfie :) Hes the mascot of the Rugby team.

I managed to get DDs main pressie today. We have been trying to get her the disney princess tv and dvd but no one has them up here, then a friend of mine saw the disney Cinderella tv's and dvd's in Tj hughes so we went and got them while she was at ballet this evening. Finished my mums pressies too. Still got lots to buy :)

That's quite cool! :thumbsup2

We have some lights for our house, but we hope to get a lot more this year. A few inflatable Snowmen, Santas, Christmas lights etc. should show up the cousins.. :rotfl:

I haven't seen any lights yet, which is disappointing. We like to go around and look at the lights after we have done some shopping. It's so fun to compare their lights to our rubbish ones.. :teeth:

Not going to happen this year! We'll have so much lights that the 3 wise men will be able to find us! :rotfl2:

Now I would be much happier to see Sky Blue Sam (the Coventry City FC elephant mascot) switch the Crimbo lights on :thumbsup2

Well done with your shopping Michelle :)

Dont know if you already know but inside Kelloggs cornflakes they have discs with kids activites and craft etc. On the games and stuff one there is a template to make your own crackers! - its really cute - you can decorate it by clicking and dragging with all sorts of images provided then print it off. They even show you where to fold and cut etc. Might be a nice idea for the kids to do for Nanny etc. :goodvibes

Merry christmas everybody. :wave2:

I bought some more pressies online last night.....feel like I'm getting somewhere now!! Still need to write my DIS cards though :rotfl:

Going shopping tomorrow for some tree decorations :)
