WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!! I just finished ordering my Prince tickets!! Has anyone seen him in concert before? How was the show? I am soo excited- Prince is one of my favorite performers!

I havent been to a Prince concert, but I did sleep on a sidewalk one night trying to get tickets to see him Obviously I didnt have as good luck as you did.

CONGRATS!! I got mine last Saturday!! Me and my 2 girlfriends are going. Got great seats too!!! I have never seen him before but my 2 sisters did years ago and said it was great....I am sure it will be!!! I can't wait either.....
BTW, we also got Van Halen tickets a week later......I have never seen them before either!

We didn't get great seats, but I know it will be a great experience no matter where we're sitting. I'm going with DSIL who is a HUGE fan, like me. Did I read or hear somewhere that a copy of his latest CD is included in the ticket price?

Congratulations on getting those tickets. I saw him in concert years ago (in the 80's) . I saw his 1999 Tour which was awesome because he was still playing somewhat small venues so you got the chance to be pretty close to the action. During my Sophmore year in College I went to his Purple Rain Tour twice and once again it was a great show. This one was at the Capital Center outside of Washington D.C., very large venue but still pretty good seats. He puts on a great show, so those of you lucky ducks who got tickets you will enjoy it.

I have never been to a concert, but Prince is one of my all time faves. He is coming to NY, and I was considering tickets........not the best seats, probably nosebleed.

I went to the ticketmaster site to seeif there were any more tickets for the Chicago area concerts, there were not. So I then checked for Milwaukee and Whoo Hoo for me!! I got 3 tickets for me, my sister and my 17 yr old niece who loves Prince. Now, it has been 20 years since I saw him last- 1984 so this should be pretty cool. I will be "getting crazy" and "partying like it's 1999"

Congrats! I know that happy feeling well! I was able to snag tix to Madonnas summer tour! Report back and let us know how the concert was. I was thinking about going to see him also, now that I have learned it is a greatest hits tour.

I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but DH and I saw Prince about three years ago, and it SUCKED! He played tons of music that we had never heard, and all the "good stuff" like Purple Rain, Raspberry Beret, When Doves Cry,Lets Go Crazy, were packed into about a 20 minute medley, and HIGHLY edited for content. He closed with 1999, and the whole concert lasted about 40 minutes. He NEVER played Little Red Corvette, Erotic City, my personal favorite P Control, or ANYTHING even close to racy...

He is coming to Memphis this summer, and he gave an interview that said that his concert would be "clean and wholesome and appropriate for the whole family." While I applaud this, I also want to see Prince, not Disney on Ice. If he does clean and wholesome, most of his music anthology will be GONE, and he will only play the music from his new album, that no one knows, and frankly, isn't that great. So we are sitting it out.

I do like "Musicology" though...I saw it on MTV last night.
