Today was our 30 day mark for F! seating, so I was on the phone at 7:57 doing rapid redial, at exactly 8:00 the line rang, and I was put straight through to a person! Woohoo... May 11th 9pm show here we come... :)

Now all my PSs are booked, including F!
Package is paid for
Secret stash of surprises for dd bought
Lots of Disney Dollars bought
Vons grocery cart full--waiting until the 2 week mark to pick my delivery time
Transportation arranged for (flights and private car pick-up)
Crazy 5 page spreadsheet of plans detailed out
VP requests made for room preference and pic for dd
InMotion dvd player & 3 disney movies rented, to be picked up at airport
Added "zipideedodah" as the ringback on my cell... can't do it as a ringtone cause dd might catch on... and all this is a surprise girl's trip!

:yay: :woohoo:  :cool1: :dance3:

I have pretty much the same exat list except we're bringing our own DvD player and my spreadsheet is only two pages long. :wizard:

We have Fantasmic seating too. We've never seen it and I can't wait. I'm terrified though that my 2yo will be terrified!

Anyway, only 12 days left for us!!!!!!! Almost to single digits! God is so good!

I bet you are excited! I wish we only had 12 days! DD loved F! in October... and she was 3... but she already knew about Maleficent and had seen the movie... so she kinda guessed that there would be a big dragon!

Vons is Safeway in California... and yes they deliver!!

Vons is Safeway in southern California...we have Safeways up here in northern California. :)

Have a great trip! Sounds like you are very well prepared! :thumbsup2

Yes, vons.com and albertsons.com are both local grocery stores that deliver to area hotels. You can arrange for your order online before you even leave. Be sure to Google for free delivery coupons. It's awesome!

Congratulations on getting the Fantasmic! seating. :thumbsup2

Our 30 day mark is fast approaching and I am so excited! :yay: They're only showing Fantasmic! on our first day in DL, so I am definately going to try to book seats for us! :)

hey! we will be at that show too! :cool1: i booked my seats yesterday and was SO happy i didnt have any issues. my dd is 4yo also and she is so excited to see fantasmic!

start watching it on youtube. thats what ive been doing with my kids and hopefully they will be prepared. they think the beginning is hilarious, but when they start freaking out over the bad guys i keep reminding them of the boat with all the characters at the end, the pirate ship, and the princesses, and it helps calm them down.

Look for us! Hopefully we will be near the middle in the front... *fingers crossed*... dd is tiny for a 4 yr old, and has short very curly light colored hair... we'll have our LGMMH on us somewhere....

I've been debating whether to do this. We are all Fantasmic virgins and I think I don't want to be spoilered. We recently watched Enchanted and DD has pointedly mentioned to me that she does NOT want to see a dragon at DLR. Mickey would be OK but not a dragon. :rotfl:

But heh, there are plenty of kids I guess who don't even want to meet Mickey! I'm hoping she'll be OK if she just buries her head in my chest.

I'm so excited for our trip I can taste it!

i would let her know there will be a dragon in the show ahead of time, but tell her mickey will make the dragon go away. and maybe help her come up with some sort of coping mechanism ahead of time? when my kids have been caught off guard with "surprises" in shows and on rides it will dampen their enthusiasm for every ride or show that follows.

:lmao: I do this too, I have everything scheduled down to bathroom breaks :rotfl2:

Okay, so I don't have the bathroom breaks written down... but, this is what we do: go right when we get up at 6:45 am, then after breakfast (8 am), then ~10 am, at the beginning of lunch (12-12:30 pm), before nap (~1:30 pm), after nap (3:30 pm), before dinner (5:30 pm), then ~7:30 pm, and then right before bed (~9:30 pm)... so just because its a pattern and in my head already is the only reason its not written on the spreadsheet!

:lmao:

oh definitely let her know...this is a HUGE HUGE dragon and between the noise it makes and the fire it shoots out in the rivers of america she will be scared...but tell her that mickey kills it in the end and it doesnt hurt anybody...prepare her for the inevitable and hope for the best

OMG we are sisters separated a birth! :rotfl:

Thanks everyone! I will definitely be warning DD. Managing her expectations is one of my primary parenting tools that I use everyday. I'm thinking a blanket over her head wouldn't be a bad idea. Or maybe I can even get her to fall asleep on me beforehand.
