woody's round up

hey guys this is prob a silly question but my cousin asked me what this was like in the park but i never went near there or seen it so what is woodys round up like? and is there all the time? thanks

don't waste your time - although Woodys Roundup is still there, they no longer do any character meets there, its just a bunch of wooden huts and a couple of photo ops with models of Bullseye and Stinky Pete. I don't even know if you can get to them now, it was all locked up in March . Such a waste of a great space.

If you do want to visit it, its right at the back of Frontierland, behind the Cowboy Cookout in the Critter Corral area, where the Frontierland train station and Chaparral Theatre (where they stage Mickeys Winter Wonderland in winter and the Tarzan show in summer) are.

it was closed this week while we where there. i wanted the photo opps with the wee one, hope they re open it soon

am i right in thinkin they use this at xmas for santa? or have i got my wires crossed?

When we went, the first hut had Mickey and Pluto in.

You then walked into a second hut, with Minnie in.

Then finally there was a veranda outside with Woody and Jessie.

I wouldn't have thought it would take too much to reinstate this, and would seem to fit into the 'Magical Moments' themeing for this year which seems to be all about the characters.

We were a little dissapointed with Woodys roundup, being our first trip we'd seen this on the map and my kids were so excited about going here. We did everything else first and saved this till last. We got there and the place was empty. Most of that area was fenced off for refurbishments and it just seemed a general waste of space. In fact looking at it apart from Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor and the Riverboat this area was a bit of a letdown.
