Woods vs Courtyard View at WL

Okay now I'm in a panic We have always had a courtyard view at the WL..Overlooking the pool or lake or waterfall. This time we booked a woods veiw. I don't want to look over the parking lot to see the woods Should I or could I ask something special. I'd love to be able to see the castle or fireworks. If I ( I mean we ) don't like it can i still request /upgrade to a courtyard veiw??? Help we leave in a week.

The Woods View upgrade gives you a view of the Castle and the fireworks at MK. We stayed at WL and had a Woods View - North Tower, I believe - and we didn't see a parking lot. We looked down over some water and marshy area and across the lake to MK. We were on the 5th floor.

I think the standard view looks out over the parking lot. We booked standard and they upgraded us at check-in because our agent noted in our reservation that we would love a view of the fireworks since we had two small kids and wouldn't be able to go see them.
