Woods view at BCV

I am making plans for our August, 2005 BCV trip. I requested a woods view and I was told that there is no such thing. I was told that there are only two views, Epcot and pool. Are the wood views considered Epcot views, MS could not tell me? Thanks.

I always thought there was a third view. Take a look at the picture below. It is from DisneyPix.Com. The BCV is located in the bottom left corner. It sure looks to me like there is a whole section that should be classified as "woods" view. But maybe since it's on the EPCOT side, MS calls it that?

The same thing has happened to me several times-so frustrating as the woods view is my favorite! To answer your question, there is a third view, called the courtyard view, and this is the view that the woods falls under. I asked at the front desk once-"If I want a woods view what should I ask for?" They said to just ask for woods view and to insist to MS that "they'll know what I mean" (but they also suggested that woods may be part of courtyard). No luck-MS refused to put it on my reservation, even when I tried slightly different working, "overlooking trees and woods". So this time I asked for the courtyard view and hopefully I'll get woods that way!

MS may not call it a Woods View, but Beach Club sure does! It is on thier map of the resort! By the way, it is on the Epcot side of the resort, but if you just ask for an Epcot view, you could end up with the woods view/epcot view and you could end up with the SSE/road/epcot view. I think I would call back until I got somone who would just make the note on my reservation. Your other option is to call the Beach Club directly and ask them to note woods view on your reservation. Beach Club will be able to see your reservation in thier computers now if you booked it on points.
