DH and I missed our annual trip this year because our little prince is only 2 months old (we go the week before Pres. week). He said we probably wouldn't go for several years, thinking that DS is just too young.
Fast forward to tonight...apparently our 4 y.o. great nephew wants to meet Mickey Mouse! Because both of our nephew's parents pretty much abandoned him, DH is willing to do anything to make that child's life better (ain't he a sweetie?
) We are now tentatively planning a trip for "our week" next year!!!! I can't wait to see our nephew's and DS's faces!!!!
What are your experiences with a young child? DS will be 1. How about a 5 year old?
I am SO excited, I won't be able to sleep tonight!!!!
