Woo hoo!!! Today I can officially say we leave for Florida one month from today!!! Granted we are driving to Ocala from Nashville and spending the night there before driving the rest of the way early the next morning to Orlando, but our Universal trip is coming on fast. Just keeping the fingers crossed for the WWoHP to be opening by then.

Glocon- We have very similar travel plans. I am driving down to Hard Rock on June 1 from Chattanooga. That's 8 hour drive for me so we are driving straight through. Keep those fingers crossed!

I sure did. My family is actually doing a HP movie marathon all day today (due to weather) so I just saw them hard at work at the mischief! Currently watching HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

This might be part your plan, but Ocala is only about 90 minutes from Orlando. I'm just curious why you wouldn't just drive that last bit or stop sooner. None of my business, but curious none the less.

Have fun on your trip! It's exciting when it starts getting close.

We usually get to Ocala sometime in the early evening, so we stop, rest, have breaksfast early, than get to WDW in the morning, instead of late in the evening. That way we are fresh and ready for everything. Plus, one night in Ocala is cheaper than one night in Orlando, especially if its too late to go anywhere. But nothing is set in concrete- do you have any suggestions?

We stop and grab a hotel on I-drive. I will go out to travelocity and find a good rate. Last year, we drove from Kansas and made to Orlando by 2pm on our 2nd day and found a room at the Quality Inn for $40. I pull into a hotel parking lot and pull out the computer to find the best rate, book it and either go into that hotel or drive to the one we found Plus we like I-drive so we can go play some Mini-Golf.

Thank you for your kind comment!!! I love Universal and because of all of you Dissers I have 2 years worth of $99 7 day tickets. I will see WWoHP but it will be next year!!!
