I took a chance with priceline this morning never having used them before. My original price was $379 using a $40 coupon and a visa code for 14 days in October with Alamo. (Picking up at Sanford airport) Well this morning I received an email from priceline so I thought I had nothing too lose. I put in $13 a day for mid-size(recommended bid was $15) and it was accepted. Total with taxes and all fees..........$277.19. I'm thrilled. A little nervous as I've never done this before but happy with the savings. Hope this helps someone else.

Congrats!

Priceline is a good option when faced with high rental car prices quoted by the rental car company.

I am hoping to score a good deal next month when we go to Nashville.
