Woo-Hoo! I luv my Canon 70-200mm f2.8L!

I took my 30D and its new friend to the Buffalo Sabres practice yesterday. Shot a bunch of pics of Ryan Miller from the front row through the hole in the glass.

Color me happy, cuz these pics are tack sharp. Shot wide open at 2.8. I don't think I would've been so lucky with the less expensive f4.0.

Sure the lens is pricey, but worth every penny IMO.

A little over $1200. The IS goes for about $1900.

You could go with the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8. It has gotten some great reviews, Nikon anyways, and it about $400 cheaper.

I am getting one for my D50 as soon as I make sure I don't have to have surgery this year.
