I am so excited!!!! 
My parents are going to WDW in December for 10 days and asked me if we could join them. I just had a new baby 3 months ago, and with being out of work for so long (I was taken out of work early for the whole 3rd tri-mester) there is no way that we could afford for the whole family to go right now ( Me, DH, DS-15, DD-6 and DS 3months). It was a great invite but I just knew that we could not pull it off.
So, get this...DH suggested that I take DD down for a few days!!!
What?? Are you kidding me? He and I celebrated out 15th anniversary and my Birthday at WDW just this past January and he said that he is just "Disneyed out" right now. (I don't understand that at all!!) Anyway, DD turns 6 at the end of November so DH suggested that we surprise her with the trip and instead of having a big party somewhere, have a party at home to save some money. He also said, that she has been so good with her new baby brother that she deserves some alone time with mommy!! So, I went online and found a great rate at POP for 5 nights and got super airfare rates through JetBlue!! OMG...I can't believe that this is going to work!!
What we have decided to do is give DD some smaller gifts...Disney Princess dolls, puzzles, Disney $'s and let her think that is her birthday gift, and then on the morning that we are to leave for Disney wake her up and tell her that she and I need to go visit Grammy and Pa-Pa!!! Of course this will take place at about 4am!!! My parents will have already been at Disney for 5 days, and I wonder how long it will take her to figure it out.
Our older son is perfectly fine with this because he is in high school and would rather wait and go on a cruise with us next year!!
I can't believe that we are going to WDW during the Holidays and are going to be able to experience MVMCP for the first time!! She is going to be soooo excited when she realizes what is going on!! In fact, recently she has been saying that she and I need to go somewhere alone!!
