We are so excited, Our first Disney Trip ever. It hasn't hit the kids yet....
Once they pack up And Clean their rooms on Saturday... It will hit them.
Teenagers are so unexpressive when it comes to family trips....
They probably look at it differently then we do....14 days of MOM and DAD UGHH.

Just got back (earlier this month) from a one week Vacation at Sherkston's Beach Resort in Fort Erie.

Oldest DS (16 1/2) has a girlfriend now. She's a sweet thing but wasn't in the picture when I booked holiday in February of this year. He spent the week prior to leaving moping around the house. Told us several times how he wasn't looking forward to this "Family" thing and just wanted to stay home to be 'near' her. OH GOD, I don't remember being like that - actually went to Florida over Christmas vacation with family even though my DH-to-be stayed back in TO. I do however remember calling him about 5 minutes after we landed in TO.

Anyway after moping around for about 3 hours after we arrived at the resort and causing me to burst into tears 20 minutes after we unpacked he finally told me he was having the best time. He did however rack up a $70 long distance bill on cell phone. Called her each night and spoke for 10 to 15 minutes. He will be paying for that one!

At the end of the week he stated that it was the best vacation he had ever had and wants to go back. DH and I booked again for next year and if this darling, sweet girl is still part of his life I plan to bring her along!!!!

Don't sweat it, teenagers are like the weather - you can never count on it but usually there is a ray of sunshine at least once a day!

Thanks for the heads up. We have a 17 year old with a long time (1 1/2 years, lol) boyfriend...I'll keep an eye on the cell phone
