The first half of the trip has been covered….so were do I begin…

Okay, Day 5 consists of laundry, Chef Mickey’s for lunch and Downtown Disney. We are going to sleep in a little and relax at the pool while laundry gets done. And at DTD, I think the boys are going to go crazy in Disney Quest, while we spend all of the money. Genius Girl has a 3:30 appt. with a Fairy Godmother in Training and shall be known thereafter as Princess Genius Girl. This makes me itch a little.

***Recently I have discovered I can turn the Cinderella fairytale into feminist propaganda and she still loves it!!! Example: Cinderella has a strong work ethic and if she can handle all the business of that estate, without being motivated by money and power, she could definitely be a CEO of a major corporation without any trouble. Snow White also has an amazing ability with animals and is most likely studying to be a vet or maybe she is a Geriatric Specialist, she does love those elderly little people. Princesses are the antithesis of what I want to teach Genius Girl so I have to squeeze in substance at every turn!!!***

Thursday is Day 6 and according to our new Sugah-Daddy we need to open Epcot/Future World and leave early before “they” begin packing in for EMH!! I hate that in this world there is always an us/they dichotomy….okay….in most situations I do….but I would much rather be an “us” then “them” in this situation!!!! We have lunch ADRs at Coral Reef for noon, we are not sure if we are having lunch here or just splurging and letting the children eat a delectable dessert. Soarin’ is the top priority and then Nemo and Turtle Talk are a close second!!!

Day 7 is our second Magic Kingdom day and we are hitting Fantasyland, Mickey’s Toon Town Fair, Tomorrowland, & Main St. Once again we are opening up the park so that we can escape before “they” arrive for another night of EMH. We will head to 1900 Park Faire to meet the elusive Cinderella. For lunch we are planning on getting a Panini at Pinnochio Village Haus, I am so excited about the Turkey Bacon Panini!!!! We are going to watch the afternoon parade and with the Sugah-Daddy’s advice we should get a great view!!!

Our last park day….uuuggghhh…is it already coming to an end? So, Day 8 is going to start out with an early morning for Dam and I. We are going on our date…and I am soooo excited about it!!! I booked an Around the World Segway Tour for 8:30 am. This will give us a view of the World Showcase empty!!! Jennifer and the kiddos will meet up with us at opening and we will spend the day in the World Showcase. We have no dining plans for today…..we are going to eat around the world!!! I think that the kids are going to love this part….we have strange kids…

Departure day….Sunday…..we are going to get a slow start, as our flight doesn’t leave until the evening. Pack up, check out and head to POR to drop off our Croc. Then a boat to DTD. Here we will lunch and do our final money spending, the kids Disney Dollars must be gone by the time we board out ME bus back to MCO.

We will get back to my house around midnight….and fall into a saddened slumber…..

He is *so* not excited about crocs...he didn't want them at all. But, lemme tell you what happened. My hottie, who felt he owed me one after he stole my car, gave me a gift to make it up to me. He gave me a $50 gift certif. to shoebuy!!!! he wanted me and Jon to get crocs. Well, Jon does not want crocs. He picked those..."NO holes mom...NO holes!" But, he won't have socks on, because I think wearing socks with crocs is a mortal sin, so hopefully he won't be too bad. And, he definitely would not do jibbitz!

I'm so happy to enable! Isn't Mike just yummy? I loves me a man that plan me a WDW trip with his eyes closed!!

Well done, young Jedi! The first time I used Mike, I had to replan my itinerary.

I am a young grasshopper...but Mike has taught me to hop in the right direction!

As long as you're there at opening, and follow Mike's plan to a tee, you should be just fine. You'll always be one step ahead of "them"! I did 1 am EMH, against Mike's advice and we were just fine, provided we didn't deviate from "the plan"!

I'm a skeeeeered, but we are taking off in the afternoon, so hopefully we'll survive!!!

May I chime in here? I highly recommend you get to AK as early as possible. Send your FP volunteer to Dinosaur to get the coveted FPs and then meet at the Safaris first thing if you want to actually see the animals moving. JMO!

I'm ahead of you on this one, because after doing even MORE research with my Michael, he told me I have to be at opening every day we go...to get there early and ahead of "them"...SO, I'm gonna have to drag my butt outta bed and scoot scoot scoot!!!

I talked to DH last night about missing the MGM Star Wars opening and we tried to think of a way around it but I'm just not sure how. If we want to keep CRT then we can't see the Star Wars on a full day. I suppose if I had known about Star Wars beforehand I could have asked them to send us on Friday and come back on Tuesday to make sure we had to weekend days to try and hit it. DH is asking if I could make our CRT ressie for just two and take DD to that but I don't want to split up like that and to tell you the truth I think that DD would like the Star Wars thing too. Plus, I'm not sure they would allow the reservation to do that. The worst part about the kids not knowing is not being able to ask them really important things like this. I think you have to cancel CRT 48 hours in advance and she won't even know that we're going to Disney World until about 29 hours before the reservation. I am debating just point blank asking DD (she is 4 and really is clueless about this trip even though I talk about it in front of her) something like this, "The next time we go to Disney World they will have a special Star Wars thing going on that daddy, DS and maybe even you would like but it would mean that you can't eat in the castle. Do you think we should go do the Star Wars thing as a family?" My head is exploding from stressing over this.

Ohhhh...I thought your ressies were for evening time...now I see. Have you looked into 1900 Park Faire...Cinderella is there as well. Maybe you could do this instead of CRT and she would still get her Cinderella and you could do MGM on sunday.

If not, maybe your could hop back over to MGM asap and do some Star Wars. although, most of the stuff starts earlier in the day. Sunday is also supposed to be a better day to go, less crowded. Saturday is supposed to be bad...that's when everyone is there.

I think you should try to come over to MGM when you can...was Sunday your only day at MK??? Star Wars Weekend sounds soooooo neat! Then, if we need to switch our meet, we could do it at MGM!!! We could send the boys off and you, DD, me, Tera, and genius girl could do Beauty & the Best and Little Mermaid and stuff!

Sounds good to me!!! That just means more chances to meet!!! MK is just always bad on Mondays...but this one won't be horrible...because the previous night (sunday) is EMH at night. SO...we are gonna get there for opening, and leave for a while after lunch. THEN, we'll come back late in the afternoon for dinner, Spectro, and Wishes. Maybe we could meet for this???

When it says early night, that usually means that we're not staying for night time festivities...so on MGM day, we're gonna duck out late afternoon, go back to the hotel and take it easy. We're not gonna stay for Spectro! And, we are planning on grabbing FPs for Star Tours first thing. What a lot of people don't realize, is you don't have to come back during your assigned times for FPs. As long as you come back after your assigned time, you can still walk on. So, we're gonna save our FPs until the boys get done standing in line to get Bubba Fat to sign their papers.

Sooooo...I would keep MK on Monday and AK on Tuesday...you'll get better touring this way. You can duck out of MK on Monday afternoon for a while and come back in the evening time. AK looks good for Tuesday...optimal touring!!! And, since Monday is EMH for AK...people won't be there early on Tuesday morning and it will be easier to do what you wanna do.

Yes, I was thinking the exact same things with the extra magic hours on Tuesday. So really my plan is looking good except for the input of my daughter. Now let me see if the mothers out there will take my side or his. His side is that she has been to Disney World and eaten at the castle, something that most little girls never get to do. So he is all for cancelling it and going about our merry way of doing other things (even though he chose it to begin with). Now here's my side. I had told her that we would eat there again the next time we go because she kept talking about eating there again. She had just turned 3 when we went and will now be 4 1/2 and I think enjoy it a little more. The thing I don't want to do is go and have her thinking we are going to eat there. Not just thinking about it but fully expecting it and being so crushed about not going that this is the only thing she remembers from the trip. I really think I can talk to her about the things we're going, about Akershus and how we can eat in the castle another time but I will be talking to her saying things like next time and the time after that and things when she really has no idea of a time line in her mind but she will at least be surprised and a little prepared on the morning of the 9th when we say, "Let's go to Disney World." Now, does that make any sense.

P.S. She is a girly girly girl. She told me the other day that she needs more dresses in her closet and she says things like, "Let me make myself pretty before you take my picture!" and then rushes to get her princess chapstick on. I on the other hand own one dress and haven't worn it in two years.

Tuesday: AK...get here for opening because no one will be here...everyone will have come the day before for EMH!

OK, we'll just pick you up at the airport and say bye on Wednesday! Thanks for all the help, I'm taking it all in. Since I can't shrink the ressie down to two people either we all go or no one goes (it's pre-paid). I will feel better about all this and can start finalizing a real schedule after I talk to DD. We do plan on being at every park opening this year. Last year we slept in a bit but we only have three full days and two half days to squeeze everything in this time. If we cancel CRT Epcot will be Saturday evening and Wednesday until it's time to leave. Plus we are staying on the Boardwalk so any down time we have will probably be time spent snacking in Epcot.
