The scooter lady was horrible. Very much a "me, me, me" person. She was an excursion with us, and did not bring her scooter, and was able to barge her way to the front even on her own 2 feet. And she'd be late getting back on the bus after every stop. On her scooter, she assumed we'd all get out of her way. I had to pull my kids out of way a couple times

Nice to see so many new and familiar faces! I'm nervous about the weather for a Feb cruise, but it should still be fun. I wonder if they'll be making changes to deck if they are going over to Alaska?

OMG, I have such an image in my head (you will hopefully understand my warped sense of humor!!!).

I wish I had time to play with photoshop for this - I could just do with a laugh. Imagine a scooter being driven by Grumpy (from Snow White). That is my image of scooter lady at the moment.

From what I heard I am surprised no children were hurt. Adults too for that matter.

If this ends up being in February I know I definately wouldn't be able to go.

Would have to be a really good deal for me to do this again (in the same direction).

I would consider Alaska.

BTW - technically they could do Hawaii.....just like HAL & Princess (I think) - all they would need to do is make a stop in Mexico before heading back to CA.

These are the scooter drivers that give all others a bad name. We really try to get places early so that we aren't in the main rush (lifeboat drill, dinners, bingo, etc.). I think we were at every dinner first. He did end up parking it outside of the restaurants because the server got pissy with it near the table. We didn't have a particularly warm and fuzzy server. But I guarantee that DH will not purposely run anyone over. And he will say something to rude scooter drivers.

Oh, we're all a friendly group of thieves, I think I speak for all when I say we're all happy to welcome new folks!

And we newbie repo cruisers are happy to welcome those that have gone before us!

And I will second Denise. We have been cruising since 2000 but have not been able to do a repo as yet. I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will be no scheduling conflicts this time around.

I didn't actually come accross her, but apparently she was very rude, barged through crowds on her scooter, parked it outside another accessible cabin to get in the way etc etc. I'm sure someone who witnessed things will share.

Maybe she was trying very hard to find her happy place!

Wonder if she found it?

Or maybe she had such a bad time that she won't be back?

I'm sort of hoping she's not on this thread... yet...

She was bad... ran over anyone and everyone... thought she was the bees knees...

And there were other people on board with scooters and wheelchairs, etc... she just seemed to make an impression... literally...

Eeyore'sthebest: isn't it sad, how some horrible people make everybody look bad; but like Michelle said, there were other scooter people on the ship that were fine, the "scooter lady" made them all look wonderful

Oh my gosh! This is the coolest thing EVER!!!!!!!!!! I don't care if my kiddo has to miss 2+ weeks of school. This is a ONCE IN A LIFETIME experience!!!!

Thanks for the answers!! What time can you start calling/booking? I'm assuming you need to book over the phone (or will it be available online)??

I am sure others have answered you. For the last repo - I think the booking started at 8AM EST ..I just remember it was really early here on the West Coast. And you can book either way...whatever gets you the best deal!
