Wonders of Life - DOA ?!

We visited the pavilion on Christmas Eve last year and there were a total of of 6 people in the theater for Cranium Command (including my family of 4!)

BTW, Epcot crowds were fairly manageable for most of the day. We were at the turnstiles before the park opened and left ~8:30pm and I was pleasantly surprised how much we were able to do.

I visited the pavillion on 12/8 and wassoooo bummed to see what had become of the Wonders of Life! It was actually tragic to see how worn and in disrepair it was. It was silent as a tomb and my DBF and ! were the only 2 on. In fact, we had to wait a full 5 minutes to even see an employee at the loading area. I also tried out the hot and cold sensors and found the same thing you did, ROBO, that the hot did not work. I used to love those things! Oh well, I guess it is time refurb it or move it aside and build something new in its place! I was sad to see its condition!

DW and I heard that the pavillion was open, so we made a visit on Dec. 8th. We noticed not many visitors were taking advantage of the opening; although, there were more riders on Body Wars. We have always enjoyed Wonders of Life and thoght we better take the time because it may not be there much longer.

We had basically the same experience as OP. The *hot* coils were cold while the *cold* coils were very cold. The place was basically deserted.
On a bus ride one morning to EPCOT I was sitting next to a family on their first trip. I told them about the place and when I showed them on the map where it was I noticed that it was not listed on the map at all. The building was on the map, but it had no number and was not listed. No wonder no one visited it. They didn't know it existed.

This is very disappointing. My family loves Cranium Command its such a cute show. My 5 yr old DS still talks about General Knowledge from our Christmas 2005 trip.

We were there last week. Early in the week the board near the fountain showed Body Wars as closed but on Friday it showed open so we wandered over. Wanted to make sure we saw the pavilion one more time in case Disney does tear it down. Body Wars was the same as ever. Cranium Command was good. Didn't see the Making of Me so I can't comment. DD and I did all the sensors and stuff - some worked and some didn't. It was kind of sad to see all the empty space - hardly anyone there. The pavilion was one of DDs favorites when she was younger.

We were there last Saturday. The cast member at Universe of Energy made an announcement during the preshow that Wonders of Life was open.

At Epcot last night, the central message board was showing "No Wait" for Cranium Command and The Wonders of Me and "10 min" wait for Body Wars. Hustled over there around 9:00 p.m. (excited because I had forgotten all about this pavilion being open again when we were at Epcot during the day this past Thursday) only to find the whole Wonders of Life pavilion had closed at 7:00 p.m.

I don't mind inaccurate waits being posted on the message board so much but one would think they could at least get whether an attraction is opened or closed correct on it.

If you want to see this attraction walk over there no matter what the board says. When we were there last week the board said Body Wars and Cranium Command were closed and we walked over there and they were both open. No signs of life outside the pavilion either...and dead empty inside so we went on both attractions without a wait. Didn't go to Making of Me as none of us had a big desire to see it again, but there was no one waiting there either and it was open.

We made our way into this area this past Thursday, and I was also bummed to see how bad it was.

I would love to see this open again, but updated. It really does need a makeover. I think Epcot *needs* a human body pavillion of some kind, so I really hope it's still there in some capacity.

We went to the Wonders of Life pavilion last Tuesday. I'm not sure what time it was, but we got to Epcot at opening, walked on to Test Track and Mission: Space, then went to Wonders of Life. We wandered around a bit, then went to Body Wars. There was only one simulator in operation. The group before us included maybe a dozen people (they were being let in just as we got there). By the time we were let on, there were perhaps a couple dozen people who joined us.

Cranium Command, however, was fairly well attended. I'd say there were 40 to 50 people who experienced that attraction with us.
