Hi I have a few questions.

Here is what I know

Wonderland Tea Party - A tea party (lasting one hour) for children, hosted by characters from Alice in Wonderland. Children will make and eat cupcakes, enjoy a story, eat lunch, and have tea with the characters, and make flower bouquets. Children who are potty trained and ages 4-10 may attend.

My dd who just turned three is potty trained. I would love for her to go, but will they let her? :confused3

For parents who have had children go to this. Does the CM's help the smaller children out?--- eat, put their cupcake together??? Can you send a sippy cup? My dd can use a regular cup, but still spills some.... We are going in Jan. My dd will be 39 mo old at that time, but has been potty trained for about a year now. ( She knows when she has to go, but is still to small to get on the potty by herself....and I will not let her until she is a bit older... climbing on potties... Gross, Germ freak :rotfl: ) But, I would take her to potty before she went in. She wont have to go for another three hours or so after that.

Thank you all for any help! :teeth:

You might want to call Disney and ask about the 3 year old thing. My DK all love this party, but it is kind of a fast paced party. They play games, decorate the cupcakes, eat, talk with the charaters, etc...

There are always lots of CM's there when we go and I know your DD will get help if she needs it. Let us know what DIsney says about the age thing.

I would think 3 might be a little young for this. Of course it does depend on the child. It is very fast paced. My two older DDs (6 and 7 at the time) made cupcakes, bouquets, and had their pictures taken. They also played games and had a light snack. They let the parents come in really quick at the beginning and take pictures and then they "kicked us out" which my daughters thought was so funny. All this might be lost on your 3 yo. I'm not sure how many helpers they had there so I can't tell you how much individual attention your daughter would get. If I were you, I would just ask before booking and maybe they can better answer your questions.

Have a great trip! ::MinnieMo

Hi :sunny: Iam pretty sure this wont be allowed. If disney gives the ages as betwwen 4 and 10 then this is what it must be.
This is for insurance purposes, its nothing to do with potty training, although this is an added requirement they have. The age is totally non negotiable.

All kids clubs at disney have the minimum age of 4 for insurance purposes and even if your dd was one week off 4 yrs they would not be allowed in the club.
It would be illegal for them to take an under 4 yr old.
Sorry...Hope this helps :earsgirl:

I would call. Last year my youngest DS did this -- he was 3. They actually had 3 listed as the beginning age on my concierage sheet. He went with his big brother so I didn't have to worry about him having a problem. I don't think that the CM's really help. There were 14 kids with only 3 CM's. My DS was about 3 1/2. I felt comfortable since my older DS was going. I don't think I would have sent him alone. He did love it and had a great time. Going to be repeating it alone this time in February!

I`d send my own camera and ask them to take pictures with it, they used a poloroid camera and the picture (although very sweet) was very poor quality and blurry, I expected much more from the grand floridian!
but my dd and dn had a great time!

The camera is a good idea. My oldest took some pictures last time and they are great. The Polaroids that we got were really good though. It might just be the luck of the draw with that.

Actually- I have read it both ways- 3yrs and 4 yrs as the minimum-
it is actually 3 AND potty trained. I know since my son is registered to attend and I have exactly 36 days to get him fully trained!
Wish me luck! He is going with his 2 older sisters (DD8 and DD5-1/2 and niece 5) so I won't worry too much.

I also read on these boards about sending a disposable camera along for an older child to take pictures since we can't see what they are doing.
