Wonderland Tea Party...

I have 3 children 6, 5 and 3.5.... My oldest is a boy and the younger 2 are girls. I think all 3 of them would love the tea party. Would my son be the only boy there? I don't want to keep him from doing something he would enjoy just because it's a girl thing, but I don't want him to feel out of place either....

Do older kids (age 8-10) do the Grand Adventures, too, or is it mostly the younger set? I think my 8 year old DD would love the activities if there were other kids close to her age.

I have 2 DDs who were almost 5 and 6.5 when they went to the Tea last time. They loved it. Now they will be 6 and 1 month from being 8 when we go to WDW in March. When they found out we were going to WDW, the first thing they asked about was the Tea. I don't think there were a lot of 8 and 9 yro, but there were definitely a few, and like I said, my older one can't wait to go again. There were only a few boys, but they had fun. When my kids were there, they decorated their own cupcakes, ate them and pb sandwiches and drank "tea". They also played games (my kids can't remember what the games were, except that they were up and about playing them.) Then they also made a paper flower bouquet for their moms. I think your kids will love it.
By the way, I am not sending my 3 yro DS (he just turned 3 a week ago). He does not separate well from me in strange places yet. Give him another 6 months and he will be going too.

Is the cooking class still being run? I haven't
seen any info on it. Although only 4, my
daughter is a huge help in the kitchen and
would love her own apron and hat. My son
would enjoy that as well.

My 7 yr old did the tea party last yr and we were very disapointed, alice did't show up!! They actualy told us alice could not make it.Now could there be just one "alice" no one else could put the costume and wig on and come to the party so we spent the money for the mad hatter only and it was so stupid and a waste of money and I should have made them give my money back, but that was my experience, but if all the characters show up it would be great for boys and girls...Hope you have better luck than I did

DD was seven when she did the tea party, there were a few boys there and all seem to really enjoy themselves. If she wanted to do this again I'd let her.

My girls were 9,7, and 5 on our last trip and were unimpressed with the Tea party (the most bored was the oldest). But they ALL loved the Grand Adventures in Cooking. Got to make and keep an apron and hat and delivered their cookies.

We were told to meet them in the lobby, went to the main lobby in error. A CM brought them to us, so I'm still not clear on which place they hand out the cookies.

PattyH, DD (turned 4 in Dec) loves both the tea party and the cooking. She went the first time when she just turned 3 and has been to both of them 4 times since.
