Has anyone ever done this. DD will be turning 5 during our trip. I think she would love a tea party. Does anyone know the current cost and what is included. Sounds like lunch and cupcakes and a small group interaction with Alice and maybe the Mad Hatter.

Thanks

Haven't done it yet but my DD will also be turning 5 just before our trip in March and she will be going to this. She is very excited about it, and I think it sounds like fun. The cost is about $40.00.

I'll be interested to see what others have to say about it.

My DD5 did it in September. If I'm remembering correctly, the cost was $42. It was one hour long and included a lunch and cupcakes. Alice and the Mad Hatter were there and played games with the kids. I know they played hide and seek, but I can't remember what else they played. DD loved it and still talks about it.

Our DDs have done this multiple times and enjoy the party. No parents are allowed to stay so it is a kids only party. You can take pictures at the beginning and end of the party...in between you are on your own until the party is over. You are given a pager when you check-in so they can page you if something might happen to need to contact you during the party.

DIS reference the price at $28.17 per child (potty friendly please)...but it sounds like the price has increased. This is offered Monday through Friday at 1:30pm - 2:30

My DD who was 6 did this last August and she had a great time. She told me that the Mad Hatter was hilarious and that he tried to stick a grape up his big nose. She also won in hide and seek and Alice told her that she was a great hider. She has told me that she wants to do it again this year but she is going to have to choose between that or a water park day.

If you don't mind me asking, what do girls usually wear for this? I was just wondering if they get 'dressed up' in a princess dress or not :O).

Some of the girls had on princess or Alice costumes. My DD just wanted to wear a sundress and there were other girls who also were't wearing costumes.

We did this last Sept. I have a ton of pictures in that trip report...the one titled "Why is there a Disney waiter at my door" not this current one. To be honest....I was disappointed with what I heard from the kids. The characters were only there for a very short time and the picture you get of your child w/ the character....Alice had scary red eye in it. I saw a lot of smaller kids cry when the parents left them alone. Mine were 6 and 9 at the time. The $28 price is okay but the $40 something we paid was very overpriced.

Alot of them are gone. Can you repost them at all? I was reading your report and stumbled across it. I didn't even know they had this, and though I wish it was cheaper, I don't think it is too bad in price. I asked DD and showed her the pictures that were up and she loved it, but wants to see more. LOL! So I booked it. I'm a glutton! Now trying to decide if I want to get her an Alice dress or not. I can't find Mrs B on ebay today, so she must not have anything for sale on there right now. Are the Alice's dresses the same price as the others?

I just looked. She has a bunch of costumes listed...she starts them all at 24.99.

I'll see if I can find the others. You can only go in for a few minutes though. All of the pictures were like these...the beginning and the end. I guess you could send in a cam with your DD and they could take pics during?

We like to try everything once. We don't regret it at all but I was expecting more. :goodvibes

Thanks. I read that too about sending in a camera. I do have a old crappy kodak point and shoot that maybe I could send in with her. LOL!
