Should my DD6 dress in costume for this tea party, or just a cute dress? Also, are you able to park at the GF with no problems, if you (well, actually my daughter!) are attending the tea party?

When my daughter went she did not dress in costume. However, some of the other girls did. They all looked adorable and had an awesome time regardless of how they were dressed.

I would put this as an excellent thing for a little girl to do at least once during a trip to Disney. The cast members are so great and make sure EVERYONE has a good time!

My kids are doing the Pirate's Cruise this year -- DS was too young last year. They are both looking forward to it as it gives them something "special" to do without mom and dad supervising every step!

Both of my DD's went on a trip in 2001, they dressed in tea party dresses not costumes. Keep in mind we were there in January and the heat was not an issue. If you are going during a time where temperatures are soaring I would just make sure your little one is comfortable. By they way they had a blast, and still talk about the party to this day!! Have a great trip.

When my dd went to the tea party, we had no problem parking there at all. If the guard stops you at the gate, just tell him where your going and have your confirmation number handy.
My dd didn't dress up for it, a few little girls did. She had a great time. While she was there we stayed around the GF, had coffee and sat outside. She loved it so much, as we loved the resort and the following summer we stayed there.
