Anyone have opinions about these activities for kids offered at the GF? I want to send DS5 to the Pirates but my DS will be 3 and 3/4 when we go in Sept. Are they sticklers for the age restrictions. She is definately potty-trained (one of the stipulations) and of course...very maturefor her age ;) ...at any rate, she's as tall as a 4yo now. I love the fact that they are unparented so it would be awesome to have them both entertained - can get in some alone time - maybe spa :yay: time?

My kids ds 8 and dd 9 loved both. they liked the tea party the most they said it was a lot of fun and they did everything backwards.. pirate:

the Pirate cruise was nice but make sure the kids go to the bathroom before getting on the boat. my said they would not allow her to go to the bathroom and she was ready to burst by the time she got off the boat. We had to run all the way back to the GF.

I've gotten mixed messages about whether or not Disney will make exceptions with the ages for these. Someone said they let a child who was 11 go (it's only for ages 4-10), so it's worth a call.

The tea party is actually for ages 3-10. I've always seen it listed as 4-10, even on the WDW site. But someone on this board said they had signed their three year old up for the tea party. I did a bit more research, and found 3-10 in the Passporter. I called, and the CM agreed that it was 3+, but must be potty trained. So, I was able to sign my older three up for the party.

That is fabulous! I also read somewhere about the age being 3 but I thought it was just an old schedule. Thanks!

Our three kids did the pirate cruise on 4/22. My youngest DS was only 3 at the time. He did not turn 4 until 5/3. When the TA made the arrangements she simply told them he was 4 and they never asked us when we registered them that morning. My older two had done it before and the youngest was dying to go be a pirate as well!

Thank you for asking about the ages, my youngest will turn 4 three days after we leave WDW, and I would like for him to get to go (with his older brother) our last day. Does 3 days make that much difference? I was going to ask when I made the ADR.

Thanks!
