Wonderland Tea Or Princess Tea?

I am going this December with my grand daughters and would love to have them attend a tea party because we love playing tea stogether so much.
I am debating between the WOnderland Tea or The Princess Tea. I am sure they'll LOVE both, but I can't be there with them at the Wonderland Tea and the Princess Tea has such a steep price tag. My grand daughters are 5 and a half and 4 years old.
Which would you suggest?

well the wonderland tea is for kids only parents waited out side when i was there
they have food, tea, get treats and alice and the mad hattter are thre
its a fun experience from what i heard

i had the reg tea for adults in the afternoon at the Gf
we saw them cleaning up from the kids tea
it was amazing
rose petals on the floor, a doll, special time with a princess
sounds like an awesome time but its 200 for 1 kid
very expensice
it hink it depends on what your girls like and what they really want to do

NYRN - Hi, we did the princess tea party last Thanksgiving. My daughters were 8 1/2 and 4 1/2 at that time. I expected to be a bit bored and snooze thru it, but I actually REALLY enjoyed the whole thing. I was just going to go and watch my girls be thrilled! But, the odd thing is that my older daughter had kind of questioned whether she would feel awkward at this "princess" thing also REALLY enjoyed it. My younger one was ready to go play Polly Pocket after about 1/2 hour of it. There is a lot of theatrical story telling and singing by "Rose Petal". She explains her relationship to Sleeping Beauty. Rose Petal and Baron Von Branch (piano player) are very talented and fun to watch. Sleeping Beauty comes toward the end of the whole thing and doesn't spend a lot of time at each table. The food is pretty sparce, too. I don't remember exactly what - but not too impressive. I think I had grapes, crackers and cheeses. My girls had finger sandwiches, I think. (which they didn't touch)

The gifts the girls receive at the end of the party are more geared to the younger ones, but overall my older daughter and I enjoyed it much more than my little one. Go figure.

I know all kids are different, my younger one is just a spunky monkey and wants to go go go. You know your granddaughters and what they would enjoy.

I know they do an afternoon English tea in the GF that you can also make ps's for if you decide not to do the Princess Tea Party.

I wished I had a cool grandmother that would even consider doing something like the princess tea party with me when I was growing up! My DS did the Wonderland tea party last spring and he enjoyed it, but as the other posters said, you can't even watch them and see what's going on! So...my opinion is if you can afford to go all out, do it-memories like that are precious. But as Lives4Disney said, you could always try the English tea at GF.

My DD did both of them when she was 4. She enjoyed both, but says she liked the princess tea better since I got to come with her. Both are very well done. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Even though the princess tea is expensive, I thought it was money well spent. It was so much fun.

The Princess Tea Party is a wonderful elegant tea party with a very entertaining "show" starring Rose Petal, lovely table settings and service, fancy tea sandwiches (but it's still PBJ for the kids) and dessert, and beautiful little bracelets and dolls for the girls. I did this with my 3 daughters in April and it was magical. Yes, it is expensive but if you are looking to to a "real" tea party this is the one for you! Your granddaughters will love it (and you will too).

That is what I am hoping for- we have rooms at the WL, courtyard view for a week to see the decorations... I think you all have pretty much sold me on the tea as well. Now, should I ask my DD to come along as well? She is their Mommy I could hopefully spring it on them as an early Christmas gift- are the girls dressed up though? Both girls have Aurora princess gowns, so they could- but if I surprise them I can't tell them...

My girls were dressed up as Cinderella and Snow White. About half the girls dressed up as princesses - the other half wore party clothes.

I think it would be a fabulous Christmas gift!
