Wondering...SSR to OKW

Can one walk from SSR to OKW or do we have to take the boat to DTD and then boat over to OKW?

I'm thinking that one can walk, being the the LBV golf course runs through both resorts and golf carts have to get over there......anyone know how long of a walk it would be....from the check-in at SSR?

You can walk in daylight. You have to enter the path down near building 55 and walk along the canal. Just before you get near CDS parking lot, you will have to go to the left over a footbridge. This will take you into the back side of SSR kind of near the boat dock. It will take about 10-15 minutes from building 55.

Its a great walk. The kids rent the bikes and dh and I will walk

The paths are posted that they are closed at night, but that is mostly because they are not illuminated. We have used them at night and even ran across CM's in carts and no one attempts to get you off of them. I am sure it is mostly for liability/security reasons....they don't want some of the problems that can be associated/blamed on unlit remote paths. I wouldn't walk them alone at night.

You could also take the bus to DTD Marketplace and walk through the congress park pathway.
