Trip #4 in the last 6 yrs with my fam. of 4..WOO HOO!! :cool1: Kinda' thinking we may run in to a problem this time though. My twins are 14 and one of my sons has cerebral palsy and is non-ambulatory. He can not transfer from his w/c. As with all teens, puberty is rearing it's ugly, awkward head..ROAR!! and growth spurts are frequent. My little man is now taller than me ~ 4" in the past 4 months! This is causing some discomfort and I need to take him out of his chair to let him relax and do a little stretching for about 20 minutes a cpl times a day. Do the parks have anyplace to accommodate this type of need? I was thinking maybe there may be stations for nursing mothers..?? Kind of like the "husband sections" they have at the mall..LOL! Any suggestions would be appreciated. We can always break up our day and go back to the hotel but...trying to find an alternative.

I doubt you would be allowed to use the nursing room as they limit those rooms to just nursing moms. But you would be able to use First Aid. Each park has a FA with curtained areas with cushioned tables and atleast one treatment room.

I second first aid. It's air conditioned, quite private, and quiet. You can do what you need to do without it being too much of a hassle.

I third First Aid.
There is one in each park and you just go up to the desk, sign in and let them know what you need. They are very helpful, but won't 'hover' if all you need is a place to rest and stretch.

Here's a picture of a typical cot.

First Aid in each park is a little different. This picture was from the Studio, but they all have similar cots, plus higher tables and exam rooms.

Thanks for that picture! We'll definitely have to be using first aid to get my DD out of her chair at least once a day, that's a perfect solution. They won't have any problems with my DH taking my 16 yr old in there, will they? I try to do less lifting when he's available since she's getting so big now.

Hooray! Thanks for the advice ~ I never thought of first aid. Problem solved! Sue M thanks so much for the pic, now I can show my son so he knows in advance what the plan is. Have a great day everyone! :)

My DH has stayed with my DD when she was resting after a seizure.
